She was married to a young man that sung with the Kingsmen from North Carolina. (I think they changed their name to the Carolina Boys for a while). I can't think of his name. They were married for 5 or 6 years and he traveled with the Isaacs until their divorce about 6 or 7 years ago. I've lost track of time, so I'm not quite sure of the dates and number of years. Sonya doesn't have any children, but Jimmy Yeary has a 10-year-old daughter. It sounds like he mainly writes country songs. He's 39 and she's 35. She sure is a talented young woman with a voice of an angel. I wish them the best!!

That young man would be the very talented vocalist and musician, Tim Surrett. His voice was the lead on the Kingsmen hit, "Wish You Were Here". He sang solo for awhile also, and now plays and sings for the bluegrass group, Balsam Range.
