What foods or recipes make you want to say, EEWWW?

Cream of Salmon Soup sounds like to me.

Most anything involving shrimp, lobster, or pretty much any other seafood.

I'll eat tuna salad sandwiches and tun patties, but the thought of tuna casserole in any description makes me wanna hurl. I've never even tried it, I don't care what I may be missing.

Sushi

It depends for me, because I love the NON-raw types of sushi rolls. I really love California rolls and also bacon wrapped, eel rolls (not sure of the name). I also LOVE shrimp tempura rolls that have the fried shrimp with bacon wrapped asparagus. ...On the other hand, I really find sushimi with the raw fishes to be very unappealing. I've tried them twice my entire life and I personally found them hard to eat. The textures of the raw fish and the flavor really did not do it for me. I can see how some would like it, but for me anything that has raw fish or meat is difficult to stomach. I wouldn't eat a steak tartare type of meal either. So any tartares or sushimis would be on my list.

Do you like the non-raw sushis?

I'd say off the top of my head also that I personally dislike beets, gnocchi (they seem too floury to me), and octopus.

Hey btw, I saw this video the other day on YouTube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjkhVSHkHik

and for some reason thought you and your cat. ....I got scared watching this video and it made me not want to eat tuna fish for a while and perhaps look into animal abuse violations. ***A bit of a warning*** ...the video can be disturbing and may cause loss of appetite or other types of horrors of the mind. I've found it hard to want to eat tuna after viewing it.

Chitterlings.

I shudder to think my husband enjoyed them when he was little.

Both. I love pasta as long as it's not macaroni.... I'd eat most other shapes with a cheese sauce...

Interesting I love mac and cheese.

I do not like a lot of vegetables, i think its some texture thing and the way they are prepared.

Esp:

beets
peas
brussel sprouts

Split pea soup

Some sushi

Frog legs
snails
duck blood soup

probably wouldn't eat caviar either.

Also everything on Harvie's list plus others.

Oh, you mean what we call "elbow" over here? The people of Italian descent in my area call all pasta macaroni, so that's what I thought you meant until Manda asked.

Yep, elbow macaroni. One of the first things I ate when I was in the US was some soup with 'noodles' in it. To me (and most Brits) noodles are Asian, not Italian. The 'noodles' in this case turned out to be macaroni. No, I didn't eat them. As soon as I saw them in the soup, I stopped eating. I know that sounds rude... I don't generally stop eating like that... but it was macaroni!

Wow, I love calamari. I didn't realize anyone could dislike it. That and bacon seemed to me like universally loved foods!

Cabbage rolls. Are those like egg rolls with cabbage? Or something totally different? I've not heard of those, but they sound interesting.

Anything non-sweet with "pudding" in the description.

Any food that looks back at you.

Anything that smells worse going in than coming out.

other than that...I'm not too picky
