I bet it is, especially if you're driving while trying to hug the bumper.

Happy Saturday, all!! Hope your day is blessed! I've got lots of reading to do today for a test, plus one small paper to do. I hope to get it done today, but I'm probably not going to push myself too hard. I've also got internship stuff to do, and studying for the comprehensive exam I need to start. This is the beginning of the end.

I am feeling relieved today that my state voted to my liking for once!

I heard about that Broyce, woohoo!

I woke up to snow this morning. I wish work had snow days like we had back in school.

I hear ya, we do not have snow days here either anymore, unless the Mayor or Governor declares a State of Emergency and tells people to stay home. Even then, my work frowns on snow days and if you do end up not coming in due to weather, you do not get paid for it either.

Too bad we can't have snow days... they sound like fun. Although our hurricane parties and beach parties can be fun too.

Well, GnM, they are only fun if you actually get to take the day off, otherwise they are a royal pain instead!

We're trying to get our post-count back up!! They took a big hit last night.

My counts have been steadily going down also, however if you want to get your post counts back up, then just post in as many places and as often as I do.

GNM you should not throw pretty shoes!

Throw steel toed work boots instead

Ouch, I am not sure what would be worse? Both would hurt a big deal, well unless the shoes were flats, then that wouldn't hurt at all.

Oh great......I have to find a different radio station to play at work again.....it's a Christmas music weekend on the one I usually play.

Sorry before Thanksgiving is a little too early to listen to Christmas music for 9 hours.

And the Christmas music tradition on radio continues.

Funny...I never notice my post count.

I do notice stars, though!

Thanks very much, New Mod, and those who gave the vote of confidence...

I wish that they would bring rating posts back, however I do know that there has been abuses though. Hmmm, now here's a thought, maybe they could bring it back but limit how many posts that you can rank in a day? Just an idea.

Ok, so what's everyone doing this weekend? Y'all know what I'm doing... I'll have my nose in the books. Don't want to be going out this weekend because I have so much to do, plus I'm getting familiarized with this new program I'm doing, but I could use a little company.

Now I misread that about the nose thing and thought something else instead!

I am just gonna relax this weekend after a very stressful week! I am gonna try to get all caught up on my forums reading and go to church tomorrow as well. That is about it for the most part. And oh yeah, finally watch a DVD that I rented last weekend as well.

It shifts the vertical lines... the column where my avatar is moved over more than an inch. It did that earlier, too. Must be because I'm on Chrome.

Hmmm, I use Chrome too but have not had the problems that you are having at all.

I just yelled at some teenagers who came in my business.

They're apparently illiterate and b/c they couldn't read the do not touch signs on the display.

They ended up wrecking part of it!!

Can you not train smart dog to do security duty? He could come out and growl if you gave a little signal...

Hurricane parties sound like fun. But they never come here. So I guess I'll have to try a "low pressure system that has some tropical characteristics" party instead.

Ooh, I vote for bringing Smart Dog in for security duty... that'll give him a job. You could even give him a badge.

Broyce, you could CALL it a hurricane party. All you need is some good food, a few games, and break out all the hurricane supplies... then break out all the hurricane supplies and play games... flashlight tag, anyone?

For as big as he is he's pretty timid, so that may not work too well.

Well, believe it or not, New England does indeed get hurricanes once in a every great while.

True, but not very often. The water is generally much colder than in the tropical regions, so they usually lose steam by the time they get up there.

So much to do tonight still... I've spent too much time on research, on other things, and on chatting this weekend... and my work still isn't done. Gah!!! Wish I could have some caffeine so I could get some energy.

I've still got SO much packing to do - but have come to the conclusion that I will shower in the morning and get myself ready for the trip, and pack as if I'm going on a 3 week vacation. That'll be perfect. I'll pack other things as necessary. It's going to be interesting. I'll still have a ton of cleaning/organizing to go when I return for Thanksgiving. But, it's okay. I'm excited about the move. Just waiting for some funding to come through.

That's exciting!! When do you start work? I'm sure it's all going to come together... knowing that you have Thanksgiving to finish your packing and organizing must be great.

I start at 8am on Tuesday! I plan on leaving around 3am Monday morning. And yeah, knowing I have the extra time is good. Then after Thanksgiving, I also have Christmas too! Unknown about Thanksgiving - I may end up flying down and renting a small truck to bring back up, or just drive down with the car. We'll see. Thanksgiving will be doing a LOT of work! LOL

So how's the packing going tonight? You leave in the morning, right? I'll definitely be lifting you up in prayer.

I'm doing well. I have no work tomorrow due to this tropical storm.

And no work Wednesday due to the holiday.

All in all this will be a good week...LOL

Must be nice!

I am working tomorrow b/c we don't get tropical storms here....we get snow and even then don't close.

As for holidays we only close for the major ones.
