Meh...about 5'1"...having a decent hair day, great makeup day, but not too happy with my shirt. I'll be happier tomorrow when we can wear jeans and I can actually look like myself.

Other than that, not much.

Broyce, are you voting on people or issues today?

Ooh, good hair days and makeup days?? You must be feeling great!

I'm not having one of those, unfortunately. My hair stays pulled back, no makeup unless I'm going out, and I put on whatever is stretchy and comfy. I can't wait until I get to go shopping again!!! My wardrobe needs an update!!!!

Our vote is mostly referendum questions with a few inconsequential local elections. The one with the most attention is whether to repeal the state's same sex marriage law, but there are other important local issues as well.

It's the little pleasures in life that make such a big difference.

And to think... we're having great weather all week... no humidity! WooHoo!!

Y'know, I watched the movie Wax Museum Saturday night, and when the wax museum was engulfed in fire and the mannequins were melting from the heat, I was thinking "Yep, this is what I look like after standing in the Florida heat for 10 minutes"

Lucky for me there are people I know who enjoy warmer weather more than colder weather and are more than willing to move south for said 5 years.

When I lived in Illinois we had snowdays for work. It was pretty funny because the rule was if half the people don't show up then they'd send everyone else home. So most people wouldn't show up anyway knowing they could just get sent home.

It worked pretty well.

We never got a snow day where I used to work.

Where my mom works they had a rule years ago that if no one in management made it to work they got the day off with pay. After one very bad snow storm one woman cross country skied to work just so she could open the doors

......no one got paid for that day....except her!
