You can wish her a happy birthday here.

GnM. . .I wish you lived nearby. I'd take you to the Phillips, Craig, and Dean concert that is here tonight. I really wanted to go, but don't want to go alone. Yeah, I can trek all over the western U.S. alone, but I won't go to a concert alone. Weird . . . I know. . .

Well, Robb and everyone...Bill Gates struck again. The upgrade my kids got me won't upgrade the stupidVista that I have. I have Ultimate Vista (nothing Ultimate about it, by the way, unless it's ultimately annoying). The kids bought me the Home upgrade to Windows 7.

Back to square one. I certainly can't afford the Ultimate upgrade.

So, here we are.

And people wonder why I hate Microsoft...

Google's Chrome OS coming out next year will likely give Microsoft a run for its money!

I haven't had that many issues with Internet Explorer 8 on my home computer so far. However, there have been many problems with IE8 on the computers at the job center where I volunteer, enough so that they've asked folks to use Firefox whenever possible.

Speaking of Google...

Also, there is another Browser that PC World recommends as well. I think it is Opera.

I love their "Revelation Song," I also like "Mercy Came Running" as well.

Now is that a remake by PCD? I do know that Benny Hester did that one back in the 80's too.

Yes, I think it is a remake. I love their version though.

Y'know, I wish we were closer too. I'd definitely go see them with you -- I love their songs. I don't think I've done a concert alone, but I have now done a movie alone... it was great!

I mistakenly put this in the Singles Game Thread first. when I meant to post it here.

So I did my volunteer work at the Waikiki Aquarium this morning. I had a doctors appointment at one o'clock. Then on the way home...

I had to stand while waiting for the bus because a near homeless, probably crazy or drunk man was using the bench as his bed. Luckily I did not have to wait for long.

Then a young man with no shirt and his pant falling down asked me what time the bus was coming. I asked him which bus he was taking and he said "Which ever one you are taking." Then he asked me if I had an ID I lied and sad no. Then he asked me if I had a cell phone. I lied and said it was low on batteries.

Well, I don't watch a lot of disaster movies. And some parts made me roll my eyes... like they're just being recycled from other movies like Independence Day. But when the helicopters carried the elephants and giraffes on to the ship, you knew the parallel that was being made. But the effects were stunning.

Good Afternoon Johnny, Sara, GnM and Craig!

I just ate breakfast and I am now just catching up on forums again and listening to a Toby Mac CD.
