I'm thankful that the US daylight savings is over. So now I don't have to hustle home after church to catch AR, because it now starts at 9:00 pm for me. We don't have daylight savings in my part of the world.

Although on my vacations in the US you all need daylight savings, it's way too bright at 7 pm and 8 pm during the summer. All that light at that hour wreaked havoc on my normal system. I kept thinking it's 5/5:30 pm and then when I glanced at my watch I would totally freak out!!!

But I keep wondering when you all reset the clocks where did the extra hour go?

I am thankful that my children are sooooo much fun! They're FINALLY at the age where they like to spend time with their mum, but don't spend it whining and bickering all the time with each other.

We went to the park and threw a couple of tennis balls back and forth and just had a good ol' day yesterday.

Status: offline 		I had a thought this morning that may perk up your day as well as confirm that I am certifiable.

Have you ever noticed how apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes and fall go together? Apple pie, pumpkin and sweet potatoe pie, etc. never taste as good as they do in the fall! They smell perfect, especially with warm spices such as cinnamon and stuff, don't they?

Did you ever consider why? Why do they smell so good, and taste so perfect for fall?

You may say "well, silly, it's because they come ripe in the fall, and so they are available, so we've come to associate them with this time of year."

And that is true.

But why? Why do they come ripe in the fall?

Have you ever considered that God Himself planned it that way? That the Great Artist considered the tastes and smells that should go with the season of fall, and planned it just that way, because apples and pumpkins and sweet potatoes and fall go perfect together?

I think so.

I forgot to change my bedroom clock before going to bed last night, so I got up earlier than planned. . . about an hour to be exact.

Tink... don't you just LOVE this age??? Enjoy it... boys are so much fun!!

Shallbe... you should make that into a devotional! I think that Fall must be God's favorite time of year, too.

Blue... shame on you. (ok, I didn't change my bedroom clock, either. But I did fall asleep on the couch and woke up at 3:00 (4:00 bedroom time). My body is confoozed right now.

Oh, I got some great news this morning... well, I got it last week, but it was confirmed this morning. I've been saying I need 1000 internship hours (unpaid!), but it looks like I only need 600... the other 400 I can get paid for!!! That means I can start to work two months earlier than planned (IF the agency hires me on before I actually complete my last class).
