While I do love art and appreciate creativity, I think you have me mixed up with Cranky (Crankius), Kingsman. She is Kerr's fellow Spam-appreciator.

I generally keep my mouth shut about it (hard as that may be to believe ). Discretion being the better part of valor and all that.

I noticed that Kath hasn't posted here in a while.

Hope she hasn't been banned.

Worse. I've got H1N1. I got sick Monday night.

I am on the mend, so no worries. Thank you for missing me! {{{Hugs}}}

According to the doc, so do I. It hit me at work on Wednesday. When I got home I had a fever of 102.8.

But I'm feeling better now. Still not 100%, though.

Monday night when I first got sick it was only 100.5 or something but on Tues I got up to 102.5. That was the highest it got. Mostly ran 101, then 100.

I'm weak. I missed PT all week so I know I won't be where I was as far as how good I was doing, but I'll get back there.

(((((Kath)))))) ((((((country83))))) I can totally empathize with you as I had it too. My temp got up to 103F although I think over 102 everything becomes relative... Glad to hear you are getting better. I'm still not 100% but I'm getting there. It always takes a while to get your strength back after the flu. Nasty stuff.

They called a couple of hours before the tests and said that the tester was sick - the first time that she had ever missed a day of work.

I interpreted this as God not wanting me to take this test.

Seriousy, I am pretty sure that this test is just to eliminate a remote possibility. Anyway, I have been feeling better (or at least gettting used to it).

Glad that Kath, country83, and Phosy are feeling better. Mrs. K and I are anxiously awaiting the availability of the H1N1 shot.

Since Kath doesn't have a Kath thread I thought posting here and in SM's thread would pretty well get the message across to Kath's friends.

So for a specific place to wish her a Happy Birthday you can go. HERE

Happy Birthday Kath. Hope you benefitted from that extra hour of sleep.

I would have but the alarm was still on daylight savings time. Oh, well, as my grandma used to say, no rest for the wicked.

Well, I'm back to work. Doc told me I could go back once the fever had broken for 24 hours, which started Saturday morning. Feels good to actually be able to do things again.

Not a problem. Being mistaken for Cranky is very flattering!

Who wouldn't find it flattering being mistaken for a fresh young turkey? And a butterball, at that!

Except for being stuffed, basted, and baked, no one.

As y'all know, this has been Italian week in the Cranky household. We've enjoyed Chicken Cacciatore and meatball soup. The soup was so good, and there was so much of it, we ate it for two nights...

This post came to mind this morning. Mrs. K went wild with spaghetti, sauce, and garlic bread last Wednesday. We gave my mother and my aunt and uncle enough for at least two meals, we had it for supper both Wed. and Thur., and Mrs. K took it for lunch today. There is enough left for at least one more supper and a lunch.

I'm craving a chicken sandwich, and it's still early.

LOL! You can freeze spaghetti sauce ... doesn't hurt it a bit. I think we have even frozen the noodles without damage.
