I will pray for your friend Lexi. I have been down that road before in terms of suicidal
thoughts and God has brought me out from that point. I think being a good friend to
her right now is critical which is what she is doing.... and just pray over her and if
necessary get her to suicide hotline.

Will pray for her.

I have a request for a friend who is dealing with the shock of having her husband
of 12 years leave her for a younger woman. This friend is not a believer as far
as I know and I don't know what to do to handle the situation.

Please pray for my friend Lexi...I'm chatting with her on Facebook at the moment and she just told me that she is seriously considering suicide.

I have no idea what to say...I've told her over and over again that God loves her and has a wonderful plan for her life, but she just won't have it.

(((((Lexi))))) (((((MainstayNut))))) I'll be praying right now. Have you given her a suicide hotline number? They have specially trained people who can talk to her about it.

I should have...

I'm scared. I was talking to her, and I started sharing the Gospel with her (again...for the like 5 bajillionth time) and all of the sudden she just dissapeared....please pray for this girl. She means a lot to me and I just don't think I could go on if she killed herself.

Here's the number: 1-800-SUICIDE. Pass that along to her. I'm looking for an ecounseling resource too.

http://www.ecounseling.com/ - here's the Christian ecounseling site. Haven't looked it over completely, but it's from a site I trust.

1-866-COUNSEL is the other hotline she could use.

I am moving in 3 days. I have a TON of things to get done between now and then....and cannot get rid of a headache. I would greatly appreciate prayer that the move goes smoothly (moving from FL to VA) and that I can function here soon.

I am praying for Lexi and Tony.

I really miss my sister ... please keep Cindy in your prayers (she has been missing for a little over two years now).

Shallbe, how is your friend doing?

Lisa, praying that your move and transition goes smoothly.

(((((Psalms))))) I was wondering about her the other day. We'll continue to pray.

Have no update. My personal opinion is that he will handle this well...I just want the opportunity to talk to him about his salvation.

Keep praying!

Thanks, Psalms. He's doing about as well as can be expected. He's had a little fever, but that's gone. And he has no energy yet, which means he has to slow down. :-) I'm taking the juicer back to them so she can start juicing again and maybe get his energy up. He also has a cough now, but they don't know where that's coming from (he hasn't smoked in over 10 years).

Has he been to the doctor to rule out congestive heart failure? Left sided heart failure (which occurs when the heart is damaged or weakend ... and can happen after a heart attack) will cause congestion in the lungs, fatigue and many times a fever. It is possible the heart is not working at full capacity and needs some help. (There are medications available that can rid the body of the excess fliud build up that results form heart failure and other meds that can strengthen the stroke volume or force of the heart when it pumps). If he hasn't he really needs to go back and see the doctor again. I had a friend who went almosta month before they figured out it was congestive heart failure, because it can look like an infection.

Yes, he followed up with his doctor on Tuesday (attack was on Friday). He's been going to this heart doctor a long time. I know they kept him on his same medications and added one, but honestly all the details are slipping by right now. My mom knows her stuff, though... she was the primary caretaker for all four of my grandparents, two neighbors, and secondary caretaker/consultant for many more (and she's not even a nurse!!) Ok, just talked to her and he has a round of tests again this Tuesday. She has suspected CHF and has listened to his heart, but doesn't hear what she's looking for.

One of my housemates underwent quadruple bypass surgery a couple of weeks ago. He's got some other health problems as well, and his recovery is progressing more slowly than originally anticipated. I'd appreciate your prayers on his behalf.

I will keep him in my prayers ... and am still praying for Tony's family.
