POOF! It's 37. That's a little warmer than 36.
I wish that when I see my dad this week, he will be able to talk. It's been a year since I've seen him because we live several states away, and during that time his dementia has taken hold so much that he has lost most of his ability to speak, and is now in an assisted living facility. He is a retired minister, and I miss his voice and wisdom.

poof...Liv4Him06 is so mad at her dh for not helping that she sends him over to do your projects. But he spends the whole time on the phone begging her forgiveness.
I wish I knew how to pick a 'disaster' health plan - our COBRA ran out (we retired before 65).

*Poof* you're independently wealthy...but, then there's a revolution and people decide to do a "Robin Hood" and take from the rich and give it to the poor. So, you're only wealthy for one day.
I wish I had the gumption to put up some autumn or Halloween decorations....something fall themed and festive.

*Poof* You get a lot of pretty seasonal decor up, and it all looks so very nice. Until you wake the next morning and find all the containers, fasteners, and the rest of the items used to hold the decorations have failed or fallen apart, and everything is scattered everywhere.
I wish we could have some dry sunny days around here so I can get my bike out and go for a ride.

*Poof* You got a darling little raccoon who brought its mischievous friends: 2 squirrels, 5 mountain lions and 3 foxes who habitat in your home. Although, the raccoon seems to have great manners, nothing can be said for the other 10.

*Poof* You're able to leave your house but the weathers changing into a huge snow storm and its knocked the entire cities power out. Not only that... but now there's a strange and hyper dog who won't leave your side no matter what you do.
I wish I could go to a day spa and get a deep tissue back massage.

poof...your uncle now has health and financial difficulties and moves in for a permanent visit. He sits in front of the tv dropping chips on the rug and sometimes pees his bed, but he does try to cook for himself. too bad he doesn't clean up the kitchen afterward. (um, don't show him this post)

(I won't show him, I promise...lol) He did show up--in the middle of my bible study...lol. But, he went next door (cuz he's not the bible study type). When I was done and we hung out for a few hours.
*Poof* it's sunny instead of pouring rain...but, you can't go out and enjoy it cuz you just got a headache and you need to go pull the shades and lay down.
I wish I could make decisions quicker.

*Poof* you safely get dh home from the airport. But, he admits that he was a stow-a-way on the plane (gambled away the money he had for the ticket) and the police will be knocking on the door any minute.
I wish the mail would run already...I want to bring it in before I take my arthritis medicine that may make me sleepy.

poof...the mail comes. It's a letter from the IRS that you made a mistake on your taxes 10 years ago and now there is $500 fine on the original $50 underpayment.
I wish dh's plane hadn't been delayed in Denver and he was already here (now he's due to land 10:07)
