Thanks Dave,
I knew they were not Scriptural.
But I appreciate the relevance they connected to it.
We did the traditional Passover our first year, but as we
study we abandoned the traditional stuff. We still celebrate
Passover with the Scriptural guidelines in Exodus, I Cor., etc.
We have our own flavor of it all...............lol

It is not so much a theological connection as a cultural and practice connection. The weekly sabbath kiddish is where the church got the idea that communion was to be done weekly.
I would call that more of a misinterpretation than an actual connection. Kind of like the piggybank that was originally in many shapes and made out of clay(pygg). Now, they were made almost exclusively in the shape of a pig.
