By the way McFatty, notice also that he's using the scalloped fingerboard I talked about earlier.

This wouldn't qualify as what's know as a "shameless plug" or anything like that would it, Batts?
Or is the name similarity just a chance thing? If so, forgive me for jumping to conclusions.

Rise (1979) - Herb Alpert

Found the 12" mix of this a few weeks ago, but haven't had a chance to play it. Might just have to do that since I'm off tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.

Allman Brothers - In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. Fillmore East is just one of those albums from my youth that I never, never get tired of hearing.

Yep, great song. Brings back a lot of nostalgia -- being a child of the 80's -n- all. I remember being little and listening to this in the backseat of my parents chevy nova. Good memories.

I asked the same question in another thread because 5 out of 5 posts were plugging the same guy.

Best song today so far is The Lord's Prayer from Rich Mullins' Here In America cd.

Mark, I had that Allman Bros disc playing in my office yesterday afternoon.
