Again, today, protect us from all harm and give us all that you see we need to go forward, unswerving, unflinching, indomitable until we complete all that you want us to complete. We pray in Jesus Christ's name for the whole armor of God. Amen.

DEAREST FATHER,
COAT US and OUR FAMILIES WITH THE ARMOR OF GOD TODAY TOMORROW AND EVERY DAY!!!
PLEASE HELP US PUT IT ON, JESUS.
Now we go on!
Ready for the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit!
Now our armor gets even stronger...
We will be equipped, by the grace of our God, to live a scripture-filled, Holy Spirit-empowered life...God's provision for the BATTLE!

First we have the Shield of faith...
what is this used for?
To extinguish the flaming arrows...to NOT let them hit the breastplate at all...
remember, the breastplate is protecting our vital interests
our heart, our lungs, our covenants, our vows, our priority of having God #1 in our life!!
You, my Christian friends, are making a difference in this world, and lots of arrows are coming at you!
When you are on the GO, (attacking evil), you are a moving target...
and have the attention of evil..
why?
Because you are obeying and living in God's will!
This shield of faith is a wall of protection from God. He will use the shield to protect us!
Then...the Helmet of Salvation...
our MIND must stay rightly focused!
It is our decision to allow God to come and surround our mind, and keep it right and holy. He does not force this...He must be invited.
God helps us keep the helmet on!
The Holy Spirit surrounds our mind and conscience.
Think: God is in control!
Just Trust in God and His methods of love and faith!
Realize our goal is heaven, and our salvation is our inheritance!
Praise HIM!
Then, we go to the Sword of the Spirit...
There is nothing like it.
Truth is Truth. The Word of God.
Why are we using it? We are on the GO!
We are ready to attack evil, not run from evil!
Truth penetrates evil!
It will win souls!
It will change the world!
Some people will be foolish
They can argue against the Truth, but it will penetrate them to bone and marrow...(HEBREWS)
They will at least hear the Truth, if it is spoken.
So the weapons of attack as we go, are:
Faith, Mind, Truth!
Shield, Helmet, Sword! Paul had his share of experiences with Roman soldiers...fully equipped for the earthly battle with their armor complete.
But the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to teach us about the more perfect armor...
the armor of GOD!
MIGHTY LORD JESUS, FATHER GOD, HOLY SPIRIT OF TRUTH....
EQUIP US IN THIS CHALLENGING AND HURTFUL WORLD WE LIVE IN. SIMPLY...HELP, LORD, AND COVER US WITH YOUR ARMOR.

Thanks manna bro. I am glad this helped! Ever since I started praying and thinking of the armor that God is willing to provide, so many things which had been 'killing' me, changed. They are still there, to be sure, but the armor of our Lord softens all the arrows and all the blows!

Yes, often when we experience a wow moment, the attack comes shortly after! After a wow moment, or an annointing, Satan takes notice and is always around to try to zing us...somehow...whatever way works. Remember David battling Goliath after he was annointed by Samuel?
If our armor is complete, he has no place with us...in our heart, our mind, our thoughts, etc...
Praise God, he has given us this glorious and secure place to be...every day.
With God at our side, and our armor in place, Satan then steps into "God's territory" when he tries to attack us!
Dearest Abba Father,
Because the battlefield is the mind, we need Your help to be careful, particularly, to protect our minds.
A soldier can be very brave and efficient, having great equipment, but if wounded in the head, it becomes difficult for him to make use of his ability and his equipment.
Lord Jesus, I claim these verses for us and our families tomorow:
In 1 Thess 5.8
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
The protection for the mind is Hope, the protection for the heart is Faith.(Breatsplate of righteousness)
Faith is of the heart, Hope is of the mind.
Faith is the reality on which hope is built.
When we have a real foundation of faith, we can build a valid Hope which protects our minds. (Helmet of salvation) FATHER, please help us have faith! Then hope!
Hope is expectation of good, based upon God's promises.
Rom 8.24
Hope is an essential part of our salvation:
Heb 11.1 Now faith is, the substance of things hoped for.
Col 1.27b Christ in you, the hope of Glory.
Renew our minds with the Word of God.
Rom 12.2

Ephesians 6: 18 And PRAY in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of PRAYERS and requests. With this in mind, be alert and ALWAYS keep on praying for all the saints.
19 PRAY also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be GIVEN me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. PRAY that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

one of my very favorite passages:
Col. 4: 12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always WRESTLING IN PRAYER for you, that you may STAND firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.
Wrestling in prayer...what a descriptive phrase...
We can NEVER be full equipped, or our armor COMPLETE, unless it includes the ACTION of prayer.
Should we stop before prayer, we have stopped short of all the power the Holy Spirit will empower us with...
I wanted to talk about the BATTLE, which is continuing and won't stop. Lord, FLOOD our hearts and heads with the following verses from Your own word...
Luke 10: 20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.
21“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe. 22But when someone stronger attacks and overpowers him, he takes away the ARMOR in which the man TRUSTED and divides up the spoils.23“He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me, scatters.
So,
what armor do we believe in?
Do we believe in the complete and full armor of God...and the spiritual warfare it ATTRACTS ! Satan WILL attack God's children!
Or do we believe in a humanly-controlled world?
Father, we often say we believe in God's world and God's protection, but don't act like it. Father, please make the armor we believe in the armor which You provide and strengthen for our daily battles.
Please let us put on YOUR armor. The living armor. God's strength and protection every day.
Please cover our children and families, friends, and loved ones with the Armor of GOD!
Thank you Jesus!!!
