Richard656 -> Looking for a song (5/18/2009 12:24:55 AM)
I've been looking for a song, I think it's by John Reinhardt, or the Reinhardts, called "What a Way to Go". Does anyone have a clue as to where I might find it?

The song was recorded by the Reinhardts many years ago. Should be out of print by now. It was on a recording called Breaking Out and was on the old Harvest label which was part of The Eddie Crook Company. The only place I could suggest you try would be Circle K Music in Ball Ground, Georgia. Sorry don't have their contact info anymore. Directory assistance could give you a number. They used to advertise if they didn't have it they could get it. Hope this helps. They did a fantastic job singing that song. My book of recorded music says that project was available on cassette only. Herbert

Thank you so much for the info. I have a friend who is desperate to get that song, so I'll pass on the information.

It is also available on the Reinhardt's Choice CD.

I suppose this is different from the Ray Kennedy song of the same title.

Mr. Kerrlaw, I really think there are some threads you should refrain from trying to help in. [:D]

OK here's one for you. I don't know the name of the song and I don't know the singer. This is all I know
" I'm a soldier bound for glory, I'm a soldier going home, come and listen to my story"
Sorry I can't be more of a help but I heard this song like once three weeks ago and can't get it out of my head. It is a basic SG with accoustic guitars nice slow beat.

GeoffMo-I believe that song is, "I'm a Soldier", by a great bluegrass group, the Rochesters. That song is from their "We've Met to Worship" cd. It's available from their website. http://www.therochesterfamily.com/

Thank you Collingsworthfan, brought up the web site. I've not listened to too much bluegrass gospel but they are a realy good group. It has been an awakening if you will. I bought the CD hope its the right one but doesn't matter as I think there will be plenty of good music there thanks again.
