ORIGINAL: RogerBennett_Fan I'm glad that this thread was started for Spoken 4. There is a LOT to talk about with these guys! BTW Saved_2_Serve, I love the title you gave this thread!!! Has anyone heard Spoken 4's new single "He's My Song" on the radio? I saw on the Singing News top 80 charts they entered in at #49! I love this songs message. There are many songs out there that speak of trouble and trials, but this song says it in a fresh way never before expressed in song! As a very wise person once said, "If you can take a story someone has heard all of their life and tell it in a new, fresh way - you have done something"!!!!! Truly, "He's My Song" has that quality! quote:
ORIGINAL: 4PT_Harmony Do any of you other Spoken 4 Fans know if they are going to be performing any at Silver Dollar City this year? If so, when? We have season passes and I gotta be there when they do! YES!!!!! They will be there for a whole week in October!!!! I love seeing Spoken 4 at SDC! They usually do four shows a day at the theater and each performance is unique in its own way. When I saw them at the Southern Gospel Picnic last year, they sang different songs in each show, so you heard a variety and not just a repeat performance. It was so exciting because the crowd was on their feet MANY times during their shows! It was funny, because as I went back in for the next show, I saw others who were going right back in too! Every time Cecil would hit a low note, people would whistle and shout., which lead to a bass solo so the audience could hear how low Cecil could really go. (Of course, that lead to another standing ovation.) Then, Jon Charles did such a great job on a tribute to the vets with his solo "That's My Boy". I get chills down my spine every time I hear it, and when they do it live - it is intensified!!! The emotion Jon puts into it makes the song so real. He DOES NOT just stand there and sing, he sings with the utmost conviction. The song stirs pride in your heart for all of those who have served and are serving. At the end, all of the guys did an excellent job on “God Bless The USA”. They didn’t sing two lines before the audience was on their feet! Those shows were the best I have ever been to at SDC. The crowds were energetic, Spoken 4 was fired up, and I’m surprised that the roof wasn’t raised! I can’t wait until I can see these guys again! [:D][:)][:D][:)][:D] Did anyone here see them at the Gospel Picnic last year? quote:
Did anyone here see them at the Gospel Picnic last year? I did, on the day they were at the Riverfront Playhouse. They were awesome, and I couldn't get in to see the second show because it was full! I can't believe that silver dollar city isn't having them back this year!, but I am glad to hear that they will be there for a full week in October though! Do you know the specific dates that they will be doing in October?
