Love this Group! So glad to see that a thread has been started about them!!! It is certainly time! I attended their concert last weekend in Sedalia, MO. They did such an awesome job, and the crowd genuinely loved them!! If they come to an area near you, you owe it to yourself to go out and see them...They truly sing from their heart, and I receive a blessing everytime I get the chance to hear them.
They told me that they also have a new CD coming out by the end of April. I can't wait to heart it!! Keep Your Focus on HIM guys, and soon you will be a household name!...Love you all!

This is truly a blessed group. My family goes to see Spoken 4 every time they have a concert close to us. Their music and message is truly remarkable. Any time I am down and need uplifting, I simply listen to one of their CD's to get rejuvenated. Their music is filled with the Spirit and brings such joy to my heart. There are some bad things going on in my life at the present time, and whenever I am starting to get depressed, I know that their music will always remind me that God is with me, is looking out for me and will not put burdons on me that I cannot bear. Sometimes we just need that little push or that little reassurance to let us know that God is with us at all times. That is what I get from their music. If you are not yet acquainted with this group, go to their website and find out what they are about. These guys are truly amazing. Their concerts are always so energetic and encouraging. Their vocals blend so well together. What you hear at their concerts is real. They don't use any tracks so the vocals and music you hear are true. They don't need anything extra to improve their sound. But it isn't just about their "music". It's more about the message that they convey through their music. Their message is so uplifting and filled with the Spirit.

Their concerts in central Missouri last weekend were awesome. This group knows how to spread God's word. Can't wait to see them again the next time they are in this area.

Do any of you other Spoken 4 Fans know if they are going to be performing any at Silver Dollar City this year? If so, when? We have season passes and I gotta be there when they do!

I'm glad that this thread was started for Spoken 4. There is a LOT to talk about with these guys! BTW Saved_2_Serve, I love the title you gave this thread!!!

Has anyone heard Spoken 4's new single "He's My Song" on the radio? I saw on the Singing News top 80 charts they entered in at #49! I love this songs message. There are many songs out there that speak of trouble and trials, but this song says it in a fresh way never before expressed in song! As a very wise person once said, "If you can take a story someone has heard all of their life and tell it in a new, fresh way - you have done something"!!!!! Truly, "He's My Song" has that quality!

YES!!!!! They will be there for a whole week in October!!!! I love seeing Spoken 4 at SDC! They usually do four shows a day at the theater and each performance is unique in its own way. When I saw them at the Southern Gospel Picnic last year, they sang different songs in each show, so you heard a variety and not just a repeat performance. It was so exciting because the crowd was on their feet MANY times during their shows! It was funny, because as I went back in for the next show, I saw others who were going right back in too! Every time Cecil would hit a low note, people would whistle and shout., which lead to a bass solo so the audience could hear how low Cecil could really go. (Of course, that lead to another standing ovation.) Then, Jon Charles did such a great job on a tribute to the vets with his solo "That's My Boy". I get chills down my spine every time I hear it, and when they do it live - it is intensified!!! The emotion Jon puts into it makes the song so real. He DOES NOT just stand there and sing, he sings with the utmost conviction. The song stirs pride in your heart for all of those who have served and are serving. At the end, all of the guys did an excellent job on “God Bless The USA”. They didn’t sing two lines before the audience was on their feet! Those shows were the best I have ever been to at SDC. The crowds were energetic, Spoken 4 was fired up, and I’m surprised that the roof wasn’t raised! I can’t wait until I can see these guys again!

Did anyone here see them at the Gospel Picnic last year?

I did, on the day they were at the Riverfront Playhouse. They were awesome, and I couldn't get in to see the second show because it was full! I can't believe that silver dollar city isn't having them back this year!, but I am glad to hear that they will be there for a full week in October though!
Do you know the specific dates that they will be doing in October?

I can't believe they aren't full time at SDC. I live in Mississippi, and we would go to SDC everytime we go to Branson if Spoken 4 sang there full time. We don't buy season tickets anymore because they aren't on the full time line-up. I can tell when a group sings from their hearts, and these guys really do. They are annointed, and I'm blessed everytime I hear them. I plan on driving a couple of hours this Saturday to see them in Forest, Mississippi. Can't wait!

Same here regarding season passes for SDC! My family quit purchasing them when they quit having an in-house gospel group (and it's not b/c ppl haven't been asking for one!) Spoken 4 draws amazing crowds everytime they are at SDC - to have such talent in your own back yard and not hire 'em! Go figure!

These guys are as GENUINE as it gets! My family is blessed beyond measure every time we get to see them. Great bunch of guys to visit with too. Can't wait to hear that new project!!

The dates for when Spoken 4 will be at SDC in October are the 4th,7th,8th and 9th. FOUR SHOWS A DAY at the Playhouse Theater!!!!! I can't wait!

That is a bummer you couldn't get in to see the second show! Did you get to see their third or fourth show? The lines to get into the Playhouse to see these guys were unreal! I remember standing in line under the porch of the Playhouse, and I could not see the end of the line!!!! A friend of mine has a pic showing the line of ppl waiting all the way back to the Dockside Theater! I have been going to SDC for quite a while and it has been a long time since I saw lines like that to see a Southern Gospel group! Then again, anyone who sees these guys would understand why the lines were so long. They are really awesome! I can't comprehend why SDC wouldn't have them back at the Picnic after the crowds they drew! It isn't like the people didn't enjoy them. After the shows, I couldn't even see their product table there were so many people trying to get at it! Usually, there is just a line to get out of the theater, but not when Spoken 4 was there! - There was a line to get out, and a line for the table. I bet they sold out of CD's!

You're welcome! I chuckled when I read that you're making your plans already, because I am too! Spoken 4 is a wonderful group. I love going to see them sing, they all have hearts to minister and take the time to talk to their fans. I can't wait for their new Cd to come out!

Spoken 4's new website is AWESOME! I just LOVE the new pics on the site too! Did you see the number one promoter in American music signed them? From what I hear, he signed them personally! How special is that? !!!!!

I hope JC can get on here and tell us about their new project! I'm sooooo anxious the hear it

Absolutely, we can eat at my favorite place on park...The Ribhouse!!, if that is alright with you and yours!

I agree, their new website is top of the line!...and I love the fact that I can print out their concert schedule once again!!....but I got a question for ya, I probably should know who the number 1 promoter in music is, but since I don't, could you tell me who that is?

Well, I've never been to the Ribhouse before, but I'm always open to try new things!

I love the way the bio's are set up on the new web site! It's such a unique design. America's number 1 promoter in music is Rick Hendrix. He has a lot of the "big names" signed like EH&SS, George Strait, The Hoppers, The Oak Ridge Boys. . .pretty impressive, huh?!!!!!!!!

I am very impressed to hear that Rick Hendrix is PERSONALLY involved with this group. I read on his website that he is "considered the most successful and influential promoter in American music! Wouldn't it be great to see Spoken 4 performing with Gaither on the Homecoming tour? I may be just a tad bit bias, but I bet they'd be the best group he has!

That would be awesome if Spoken 4 could be apart of the Homecoming Tour!!!! I don't remember what other groups Gaither has with him right now, but Spoken 4 would be the best if they could get on. I get a local TV channel that plays the Homecoming videos every Saturday night. It would be really cool if one day I could flip on my TV and Spoken 4 would be on one of those videos!

What is ya'lls favorite Cd and/or song from Spoken 4?

That's a tough one. I think as far as projects go, my favorite Cd is The New Beginning. I just love the songs on that Cd! You're Not Alone stands out b/c it just grabs you and comforts you ~ and in this upside down world that we're living in, we aren't alone - He's by our side! Jon Charles does an excellent job on that one.

By far, my favorite song that Spoken 4 sings is Mary Did You Know - if you haven't heard them sing it in concert, you have no clue what you are missing. EVERYONE makes the comment that no one sings it like they do - and that's the truth! I wish everyone on the forums could hear them sing that one - it truly sends chills up your spine!

These guys are exceptional. They make a special effort to honor our Vets for allowing us to live in the best country in the world! As Jon Charles always says, "The price of freedom isn't free!" When Spoken 4 introduces the songs they dedicate to Vets, you hear the sincerity and conviction in their voice - they'll make you cry. And more recently, I understand from a friend that they are including Mary Did You Know in their concerts for all the right reasons! Reminding us that we set one time a year to remember the Lord's birth and that we should and can remember His birth year round! - If our Lord Jesus wasn't born to die for us, where would we all be?

They do so many great songs ... what are your faves?

Mary Did You Know is AWESOME! Jon Charles does a breath taking job on that one!

My favorite Cd is That's My Boy. The songs it contains have really great messages. "Just How Precious" is my favorite song off of That's My Boy. So many people today say that the idea of the blood is gross and unnecessary for today's "feel good" world. But without the blood of Jesus we could never know the Lord, because His blood was the standard of the sacrifice that had to be made. This song emphasizes that our Lord's blood is precious, and we should not take that for granted. What a wonderful reminder for us as Christain's! Spoken 4 knows how to pick great songs, don't they?!

You just put tears in my eyes.

(I noticed this song is a favorite of Paul Heil also!)
