Thank you for their son's prayer. Please cause today to go well for Matt and ppodmama. In addition to today going well, cause all of the tomorrows to go well. Help them emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually and in every other way. In Jesus Christ's name I ask this. Amen.

Please pray for words for Matt's "assignment".
Pray for our peace...the thought of 20 more months of this is sickening.
Pray our creditors continue to work with us.
pray for our weekend with Matt's brother and family...that it would be a good time of laughter love and affection.
pray for our marriage. We are feeling exhausted again and need connecting time. The stress of all this makes the refreshing of time we have as a couple disappear much more rapidly than before. I can sense an impatience with each other that is not usual for our marriage and I know it is due to stress and time sacrificed to this stupid counseling and community service obligations. Thanks for prayers.

Dear Lord, please bind this couple together. Let them regain their love for each other. Let kindness and peace flow in their home. Do a miracle and cut down the 20 months. Bring this to an end for them. Bless this weekend with the brother- and sister-in-law. Thank you for providing for their needs and that they can lean on You. Amen.

Praise God and thank you for praying for Matt's assignment...that went well. He said it was also the first time he didn't feel threatened or made to feel like scum in his counseling. Praise God. Still want it over asap though...between him having to be there for so long and his mandatory community service hours we are feeling pretty taxed time wise and that is never good for us.
Had a run-in with my family this week over all of this. Secretly I think they hold anger toward Matt for all of this, which I suppose I understand, but they project that anger and their feelings of resentment onto me. In other words, if I am having a bad day because of the way Matt is treated in the "system" they tell me things like "you haven't gotten mad enough at Matt yet" and they think I'm displacing my feelings at the system instead of Matt.
I am VERY different from my family emotionally. I dealt with all my emotions right away (I can't seem to help that :) ) and for me that's enough. When I do struggle I take it you guys, my prayer siblings, because I can be fully honest with you. However, it was pretty intense this week and I got it from my mom, my brother and sister, so what I would call "negative thoughts" about Matt and our marriage creep into my mind and their words make me feel icky for a long time. (sorry so long)
Please also pray for Matt's strength. He has been beating himself up over this for a year and it makes all our emotions live at the surface. It turns everything into a crisis, like even running out of milk, can be stressing. Pray God would reveal in his life, thoughts and actions just how loved he is by his Heavenly Father and by me and others around him.
Pray those who love him, including me, would be prompted to express it in ways he will see and hear.

Father,
I lift up ppodmama and her husband to Your Throne of Grace and ask for Your help and protection for them. Thank You for the things You have done and will do in their lives. I pray that You will intervene and help resolve the issues between ppodmama and her family. Help her family to be patient and loving. I do not know how much of the details they know about, but I ask that You help them react in a way that is pleasing to You.
Give ppodmama strength and encouragement today and in the days ahead. Thank You that she has stood by her husband and seeks prayer for him constantly. Surround ppodmama and her husband with Your Love and draw both of them close to Your Heart. Help them to feel Your Eternal Love for them. Work within Matt's spirit, Father, and be a balm to him. Restore his peace and give him courage. Help him to reach out for help during those moments when he feels like he is sinking. I pray that all of his family and friends will openly express their love and support for him. Keep Matt from despair that leads to depression. Lift him up out of the muck he is having to deal with and help him stand on higher ground.
Protect ppodmama and Matt from the evil one, his twisted plans, and his many followers. You are greater than he is. You are in control, Lord. I am confident that You will bring an outcome that is beyond anything we could ask for. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

Father in heaven,
Thank you for loving us and for paying attention to us when we come to you. Thank you for helping Matt at the counseling session. Thank you for giving him strength and support. Thank you for helping ppodmama throughout this painful ordeal to deal with her emotions.
Please help ppodmama’s family to be kind and to be understanding. Help them to be supportive.
Please help Matt. Continue to give him strength. Help him to see your love all around him wherever he looks. Help him to see the love for him of people around him. Help each person to express support and love in ways that will support him. Help him in ways that we don’t think to ask.
We praise you for bringing ppodmama and her husband this far.
We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Help others to see that is just what she is doing and that following your will is the most important thing."Seek Ye First Seek ye first the kingdom of God, And His righteousness, And all these things shall be added unto you." Matt decided to not go to his mom's for a vist this weekend. His parents are divorced and so there is always a 3 way battle between the parents for where we will go. Matt decided we'd do one place only and praise God my mom is understanding enough to accept that.
I am really really trying to not take any meds to deal with my stress levels/depression/anxiety. Never took them before, don't really want to now as I have seen them have some bad effects on people. This is requiring some re-working of a lot of family dynamics so I don't struggle so much. That includes not going to some extended family functions and changing our family schedules.
Pray that the family is understanding of this and that we are strong enough to not go back on this to people please, something we both are very prone to doing to our own detriment.
Please pray also that Matt's Mens accountabilty and prayer group agrees to meet on Wednesday instead of Thursday. They meet at 6 a.m. on Thursdays and with Matt's mandatory "treatment" it makes Thursday such a long day we lose our time as a couple and family on Friday night because he is tired.
Our daughter was having difficulty transitioning after school when I pick her up and is so crabby and irritable that she lashes out at me about unimportant things and it sets up a terrible dynamic when she arrives at home. I noticed on days when she got done with school early and had to walk home, she didn't act this way so we decided to have her start walking home except for on the days the weather is really bad to see if it helps.
Pray these steps work to lower the stress. Thank you so much.

Father I pray ppodmama follows her intuition about medications. Lord, I know they sometimes are necessary and right for some people (I am not one) but I also see that she has a good healthy respect for the changes they can cause. I thank you Father her mother is so understanding of their decision to only go to one place. I pray they have the fortitude to do what is right for them and their family.I pray Matt will have his meeting on Wednesday so he will be able to "recover" from it and their family time won't suffer from it. Help their daughter to find a way to unwind from the stress of school if she is unable to walk it off. Thank you Father.

Our Father, please guide and heal ppodmama from her stress. Help her husband Matt to be able to attend the prayer group each week. And for her daughter I lift her up to You. So many issues now a days for a child to contend with, please help her to see that You are there for her.
