I think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia.
We were crushed and completely overwhelmed, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die.
But as a result, we learned not to rely on ourselves, but on God who can raise the dead.
And he did deliver us from mortal danger. And we are confident that he will continue to deliver us.
He will rescue us because you are helping by praying for us.
As a result, many will give thanks to God because so many people's prayers for our safety have been answered.
1 Corinthians 1:8-11 (NLT)  Iraq
According to opendoorusa.org Iraq ranks 16th on their World Watch List of countries that are the worst persecutors of Christians.

Almighty GOD our Father,
I come before Your throne lifting the country of Iraq up in prayer.
Not only do I think of all our brothers and sisters living in Iraq but the ones who are there because of war.
Help each one to rely on and hope in You, deliver them from any harm. Heal the physically and emotionally wounded. Help them to forgive.
May all receive what they need--- a home, Bible, food, medical aid, most of all Your Love.
Touch the hearts of the authorities that they may do what is right for Your children.
May all see the answer to our Christian brothers' and sisters' prayers that You may be glorified before all people,
that all will come to call You their God through our Lord and Savior Jesus the Messiah.
In His Name I pray, may Your Will be done. Amen.

I am joining heart and spirit with prayn4u for persecuted Christians in Iraq.
Lord, please provide for all of those who are displaced. Make a way for them to receive emergency aid,
Bibles and other things that we take for granted here. I lift up the authorities there and pray that they
will intervene to restore homes and liberty for Christians. Please make it so they can live and work freely
in their own country as we do here. There are many who have lost loved ones and I pray that You will
surround them with Your Love and bring comfort to them. Bless Your Children in Iraq, give them strength

Yes Lord, I join in this prayer. I also thank you for the letter I heard read on TV from a muslum who realized that what was happening to the christians was not right. Lord, convict the hearts of those people who do not know you and protect your own. In the name of Jesus I pray.

Please help make it possible for those living in this country to attend worship in church buildings without concern for reprisal.

I am agreeing in prayer with prayn4u for the Christians in Qatar.
I pray that each church being built will offer many opportunities to share Jesus.
I pray that Christian literature will get to those who need it and that the ones
bringing the literature into Qatar will be safe. Lord, help each Christian grow
in discipleship as they mature in their Christian walk. Father, according to
Your Perfect Will, let this country provide religious freedom. Keep those
who are being persecuted under Your Mighty Protection. I pray that many
will come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ due to the efforts of
Christians and missionaries in Qatar.

Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel,
for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.
Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
This is a faithful saying:

Sustain those who are suffering in Your name, give them comfort, and help them to
experience Your peace even in the midst of their challenges. Lord, surround them
with mighty warrior angels who will protect them as they study the Word and worship
You. Let each of these be witnesses to Your Goodness and Your Love and may many
souls be saved as a result of their faithfulness to You.

Sustain those who are suffering in Your name, give them comfort, and help them to
experience Your peace even in the midst of their challenges. Lord, surround them
with mighty warrior angels who will protect them as they study the Word and worship
You. Let each of these be witnesses to Your Goodness and Your Love and may many
souls be saved as a result of their faithfulness to You.
I pray in the name of Jesus My Savior,

Father,
In agreement with others who are praying for persecuted Christians around the world, I ask that you continue to help them in ways that they need help. Give them renewed resolve in their faithfulness to you. Refresh them with vim, vigor and vitality. Renew them with the Holy Spirit. Comfort them and revive their enthusiasm. Protect them from all harm. We pray for them in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
