Why would Jeff leave Mike and Kelly for The Greenes? I like Jeff and thought he was a perfect fit with Mike and Kelly. This seems like a step down to me.

How come Paul can't stay in a group. I really like his voice but it just seems he bounces around so much. He is very talented. I wanted the group with Buddy Mullins to work out so bad. I talked with them at NQC 2 years ago and they all were so nice. I just wonder if he will go with Mike and Kelly now. Or was he with them already, see I can't keep up. :)

Paul is an incredible talent. I don't know the particulars of this situation. In the past he has told me he doesn't want to be a permanent member of a group. With the Martins and New River, he always looked at those as temporary.

I guess I am a little confused, because the greenes just got their new website up( Which looks good bye the way) and it has Paul with them. So has paul officially left? As a side note it says Taranda has a new album out! Wahoo!

For those of you know anything of Paul, he is not only one of the best singers but one of the nicest guys in Southern Gospel. Yeah, he has been with a lot of groups. There are lots of reasons for that. The same could be said that Gold City, the Kingdom Heirs, etc have had a lot of singers come through. What speaks volumes is that groups who know him and have heard through the business why he left groups, still want him there. I hope he gets the chance to be put out front. In the groups he has been with, he has always been the one who helps make everyone else look good. Maybe thats why he hasnt stayed. I wish him the best. Jeff will do well there and I'm sure that Mike and Kelly will have no problem finding someone.

If my memory serves me correctly (I was at the showcase), it was Paul Lancaster on "Miracle in Me."

I think Mike and Kelly Bowling are fine by themselves. Its for sure Mike is good by hisself, and Kelly only adds to making it even better.

I have known Jeff for several years. He is an awesome singer, and something that most people dont know is that he is an incredible piano player. He taught me a lot. I wish him nothing but the best. Who knows why he left Mike and Kelly... and really... what does it matter? I'm sure Jeff done what he felt was the best, and I would be willing to bet that he let God lead him in his decision. I wish nothing but the best to Jeff and his new adventure.

This was on the Singing News website: Wednesday January 28 2009 - 12:14 AM ET Jeff Snyder Joins The Greenes by Tony Greene INDIAN TRAIL, NC (Press Release) - The Greenes have announced that Jeff Snyder will be joining Tony, TaRanda, and John Jeffrey in their extensive ministry schedule. Jeff has had a tremendous career of traveling and singing Southern Gospel music for the past four years, beginning with Knoxville, Tenn., based quartet, Crystal River in 2004, then with the popular trio, Mike & Kelly Bowling for the past two and a half years. Tony Greene states, "During our rehearsals, the Holy Spirit annointed the blend and I knew right away that this was gonna be great. I appreciate Jeff's humbleness and unpretentious way. He really loves the Lord and you can tell that from the minute you meet him. I am very blessed to sing with such a talented and warm-hearted man of God. The Greenes will be going into the studio immediately to record a long overdue CD. When you attend the next Greenes' concert, be sure to welcome Jeff.

The step down I think you are referring to is notoriety. I have been to see the Greenes several times and have always walked away knowing that we had been visited by the Holy Spirit. That is the reason I go to concerts.
