Loving Father,
Thank you for your grace and mercy. We acknowledge that only you are Holy. As we read your Word, help us to absorb the way you think so that we will think more and more as you think. We pray that your Will become instinctive to us so that we will do what is right by reflex—without hesitation. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father in Heaven,
As this past year has brought about enormous changes, I ponder and pray on what I am to take away from it all. I have spent many years in a more secluded setting as a stay at home mom, doing errands as a family. So my communications with adults has been at a minimum and now my children are older and pretty well-behaved teenagers...
I keep getting a growing desire to serve You more and more. At first I was content to serve You in the capacity I was found ~ wife and mom. Then You blessed me with this love for prayer and the opportunity here on the forums to pray for others and at the same time be uplifted by other prayer warriors. I have only recently for the past few months been attending regular services/meetings with fellow members of the body of Christ (small congregation maybe 50-60 people). I find that I feel out of touch with this type of interaction and feel unsure of myself. Thank You, God, that You can use this weakness of mine.
If it is Your Will, please bring me into a place where I may serve You more. My thoughts are of getting a part-time or full-time job (I have been looking but to no avail), or volunteering at a local nursing home and/or the hospital near my children's high school, or the local food bank. Also, I am contemplating speaking with the pastor's wife about these things. I am also inspired by people on these forums and also in my local congregation who speak of witnessing to others they meet. I'm comfortable being kind and saying God bless you but have not gone beyond that. I'm thinking of when my dd and I go shopping to the mall to pray and let myself be made available perhaps with an extra bible or two or those little verse cards. These are all things I am thinking of...
Help me to know Your Will, and encourage me in the way to go. Thank You, Lord, in the name of Your Son, Jesus the Messiah I pray. Glory be to GOD. Amen.

Father, thank You for Your faithful servant and my sister in Christ, prayn4u, and I ask that You open doors of opportunity for her to serve You more fully. In my experience, You often lead us in new directions that are not comfortable, but as we follow Your Will the Holy Spirit will teach us. I KNOW this. And yet I am still hesitant to abandon my comfort zone so that I can do what You want done.
So, I pray with my sister, prayn4u, that You will lead us into new opportunities and give us the strength to step out in faith no matter how uncomfortable we are. You have shown over and over how you use our weakness for Your glory. Please help us know Your Will and follow it to the letter. Help us be willing to give up our ordered and secure lives to serve Your greater purpose. Mold us and make us into the men and women YOU want us to be.
Thank You, Lord, for knowing what is best for us. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

Please show prayn4u the way you would have her to go in this matter she mentioned above, open the door into the ministry where you would have her serve and bless her with all she needs to be able to do it. I thank you for giving her a desire to go forward for you and ask that your will would be done in her life. In Jesus name, I pray, amen.

I feel your will is that we are joyful now, and that our joy in not conditional. Lord, I am praying to do this, and often fall flat on my face! :) Please accept the following prayer from me, dear Father. My King and My Lord!
CLAIMING THE VERSE FIRST:
Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.
Dear Father,
This lovely passage says so much to me. It tells me that with faith in God, we can have peace right now. It tells me that we can rejoice no matter what our situation. Situations we find hard to get through actually help build perseverance, character and hope in us, and give life its flavor. Lord, I know that You will never disappoint us.
Too often I have found myself in the trap of thinking “I will be happy when…” or “I will trust God when…” But today I come to You to claim all of Your promises in my life. I want to stop letting life and its circumstances rule me. Instead, I choose to let Jesus rule my heart.. I consciously want to claim the beauty and glory of God in my life. I want to look at life as one big opportunity, not as one big problem for me to solve.
Lord, help me to focus on You. Life will bring many things that can threaten my decision to rejoice in Your hope. I may want a different situation, a different habitat, less problems, no complaints from anyone, or a life free of heartache and problems for my children, my friends, even me.... I may say to myself I will be happy when my problems are gone and my dreams and hopes are fulfilled. But I would like to ask you to help me look right through the situations in my life with a vision that lets me see Your plan for my life. You will give me the hope to change a dreary and painful moment into a joyous one. Lord, I claim your promise of peace and an abundance of life right now! Let no one and no situation stop me! Help me, Lord.
Lord, help me to realize that you truly are all powerful. You can turn any bad situation into something full of beauty, if given time. I know that you see life as one big opportunity, and I want to look at life Your way! I know that Your strength is sufficient. But help me to feel that in my deepest soul, when despondancy threatens to engulf me.
My hope and joy is in You, Lord. I am so happy to spend today with You. If you bring another to get coffee with....I will look at it as pure joy and a gift from You.

Oh Lord, to me this prayer speaks volumes. Let this prayer also be mine. I too, struggle with "getting out". I too spent my life isolated except for the events of my children, church for my children etc. and have struggled for some time now feeling displaced and less than useful to you oh Lord. Give those of us with this "weakness" that extra push we need to be about your will in our lives. Lord we can't serve you in a closet. Comfort this dear PW with the knowledge that her kindness and gentleness surely must touch each life she comes in contact with.

Father God, my prayer today is for your will to be done in my life, my marriage and my home. God you know what I am going through and I ask you would move in my situation with my marriage.
