Kerrlaw -> Kerr's Coffee Club (1/2/2009 10:03:22 AM)

Tis the season to start a new thread.

Since so many of my friends are coffee addicts connoisseurs, I thought that we could start the new year off with a new thread where they can discuss their drug drink of choice.

Those who prefer cocoa, tea, soft drinks or spring water are equally welcome.

As always:

I welcome all who choose to share their wit and wisdom, as well as educate themselves and others, in the Southern Gospel folder.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING SPORTS, ENTERTAINMENT, HISTORY, PHILOSOPHY, THEOLOGY, MEDICINE, CURRENT EVENTS, POPULAR CULTURE, OR ANY OTHER SUBJECT OF INTEREST TO THE SOUTHERN GOSPEL FAN, ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE.

Discussions (and gifts) of chocolate are also welcome.

Oh Wise Counselor Kerrlaw,

Is the gift of gab a gift of the Spirit?

Kerrlaw -> RE: Kerr's Coffee Club (1/2/2009 10:56:52 AM)

Back at the end of April, when my father passed, some of my forum friends were very kind to send flowers to both me and my mother. They also sent a really large supply of Kona coffee beans from Jackson Hole Roasters.

The good folks at [sm=heart.gif]Walmart[sm=heart.gif] allowed me to come in and grind the beans from time to time, and I made my daily coffee using the "cold brewed" method taught to me by Mona and the Lion.

On Christmas Eve I used my last full ration of Kona, leaving only a small scoop unused.

When God closes one door,he opens another, and I received a beautiful new Keurig coffee maker for Christmas.

I have really been enjoying it for my coffee, and it makes great cocoa (which Mrs. K enjoys). It also makes tea. The assortment that came with it and the 60 cup variety pack that I also received for Christmas should last for a month or more.

No, though a lot of Christians who post here have it.[sm=cooltilt.gif]

A lot of crooks and con men have it too.

Worthy of a quote of the week or month or however that works. Not sure how to nominate it for that. Maybe someone will do the honors.
Good quote Kerr.

Oh wise Counselor:

Why is it that we park on the driveway and drive on the parkway?

Kerr I do not like coffee so I will gladly give you my share. Please, enjoy.

You all can drink my coffee - so long as you let me sniff the beans for a while first...

Awwwwww! [:)]

Hello Kerr!

crankius -> RE: Kerr's Coffee Club (1/2/2009 5:07:04 PM)

I'm thinking about the Keurig coffee system, Kerrlaw.

Mr. Cranky says we already have a press pot, a brewer, and a senseo--he's wondering why we need another coffee maker.

What should I tell him? [sm=sadquestion.gif]

I was given several pounds of coffee for Christmas by [sm=heart.gif]someone[sm=heart.gif], different brands and flavors. Included was a pound of a German brand. I look forward to many pleasurable cups.

Hi Kerr---coffee club, did someone say COFFEE? Love good coffee. In fact Starbucks is our latest "thing." haven't found anything we don't like there.
Anyway---Great name for this thread.
