Hello coffee connoisseurs! A friend of mine is buying a Keurig. Any suggestion on flavors/brands he should try?

After the Mexican buffet, I won't be thinking about reading. I'll probably be thinking, "Did I have to eat food that spicy?"

It wasn't the "reading" end of things that I was thinking of.

You have come to the right place Terri. I have tried numerous brands and flavors and I think that others who post here have too.

By the way, yesterday we bought a Keurig for the office.

My favorite brand, by far, is Green Mountain Coffee. I order it to be sent on a regular shipment, but may have to have it sent earlier a it has been going fast of late.

My very favorite flavor is Wild Mountain Blueberry. I have this flavor every other cup or so.

For a light roast I like Breakfast Blend, which is one of the best sellers and can be purchased at Bed, Bath and Beyond, and perhaps other outlets.

For a medium roast, I like Nantucket Blend, also a best seller and available at B,B & B.

If he likes dark roast (which is not my taste), the Kenya AA is well thought of.

Haven't tried the Mocha Nut Fudge, but that is next on the agenda.

Mrs. K loves the Green Mountain cocoa. I have tried the teas, but the only one I liked was Mandarin Orange.

Full of coffee and nothing but fine.

We are going to the Mull's Singing tonight at Sevierville. Hoppers, Dove Brothers and Ivan Parker.

I would put it up here but I could not get it to go. Tried several time when I put the other one up. Might try again when I have the time. In the mean time MissGizmo is enjoying the beach this summer. She needed a vacation when the Wings did not take the Stanley Cup in the last play-off game of the season.

Kerr, I got the Island Coconut flavored k-cups from Green Mountain last time. Didn't realize they're only available in the spring and wish I'd ordered several more boxes. I may just like it even better than Wild Mountain Blueberry.

I wanted to be sure and tell you now that you can't get them.

Thanks! I passed the information on to him. He's very excited to get his Keurig.

A lot of folks seem to be having trouble with adding avatars.

Make sure Miss Gizmo has sunscreen on her nose and ears.

I had my first experience with a Kuerig and Green Mountain the first of the month in Mass. I do not like flavored coffees but their regular roast was real good. I also love the Kuerig.

Hi Mike,

I just got back from the SBC in Louisville KY. Typical baptists, lots of Christian worship, edification, love and fellowship, and only a couple of minor differences of opinion resulting in very few knives being pulled. No major injuries were incurred nor any lives lost during the discussions of these differences, an marked improvement on previous conventions.

For those attending NQC, I can report that the AC in the Louisville Convention Center works great (PTL).

After less than a week at home, we are leaving to lead 8 kids on a WorldChangers mission trip for 8 days starting Friday. We will be joining 300 others to work on projects in the strange and exotic city of ........................................................... FLORENCE, AL!!!!!!!!!!! That's right, our Youth Director picked my home town as our missions destination. At least I shouldn't get too lost driving around.

Mike, I will check back to see how you are doing later. Praying for a good report.

Mark

Thanks Mark. It is always good to hear from you. I pray for your daughter often.

I will be seeing the neurosurgeon in the morning, so prayers are appreciated.

I am happy to report that the neurosurgeon says that there is nothing that he can do for me. He says that there is no tumor or cancer indicated at all. Whatever showed on the brain MRI is apparently harmless.

He sent me back to my family doctor for a referral to a neurologist to try and determine what caused the vision problem (which I never knew I had until the optometrist tested me for it two weeks ago). I could have had the condition for many years or for all my life.

My theory is that whatever showed on the MRI is an overactive "looooove" lobe.

Along those lines, Mrs. K and I are ready to party. We started by a trip to Dunkin Donuts after leaving the doctor's office.

Seriously, we are very thankful and appreciate all the prayers sent up on my behalf.

So they did a brain scan and didn't find anything???? That's just what we were praying for! We're rejoicing with you, brother!

But celebrating with donuts probably isn't such a good idea if you're wanting to prevent cancer.......
