I can't wait!!! As always it was great to see you and Cindy again... we always come away blessed. Debbie

I live very close to this area. I'm pretty sure if that was the case, it would have at least been all over the news here. Do you have this information?

LOL ... I wasn't entirely being serious but stealing cones and barrels can have serious consequences besides the obvious of what happens if one gets caught. Book'em Dano.

Gotcha. No worries. I usually try to keep up with the news, so if something happens I don't know about, I'm like, "huh?"... It's all good. And you're completely correct.

I think you may be right. They just move them from one highway to another.

To bring you coffee sinners up to date on what I have been doing this week (during which I seem to have dropped 300 posts ): On Monday, June 15, I went to my eye doctor due to dry eyes and pressure behind my left eye. He found, after some testing, that I couldn't see well (at all?) in the lower left quadrant of each eye. This was not something that I had ever noticed, and since it was never tested before, we don't know how long the condition has existed. He pulled off a minor miracle by getting me scheduled for an MRI on Wednesday and an appointment with a neurologist on Thursday. Just when things were going smoothly, the hospital radiologist said that they couldn't do an MRI because of the two stapedectomies I had in 1990 (where the stapes bone in the ear is replaced with a steel and teflon prosthesis). So they did a CT scan instead. I realize that I don't give them much brain to work with (just thought I would beat you smart alecks to the punch), but what the neurologist saw caused her great concern and she immediately called a neuroradiologist, who said that I could have an MRI after all. Another minor miracle - she was able to get me in (due to a cancellation) that very day at 5:30 p.m. So far so good. But I never got a call on Friday, and no luck in reaching the doctor or the radiologist. So I just decided to forget it and try to be a blessing to others. I got my uncle a TV set up in his room at the rehab facility, worked on my mother's TVs (a theme is developing) to make sure she got the maximum channels after the digital conversion (she refuses to have cable), and took Cindy to the movies and Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Red Lobster. We saw Star Trek (again), The Taking of Pelham 123, and The Proposal. Pelham was OK, Proposal was disappointing for both of us, and Star Trek was just as good the second time around and is one of my favorite all-time movies. I have spent the afternoon doing paperwork at the office and half-way watching the U.S. Open. We are going to go home soon, and Cindy has promised to make me hamburger steak and toast. Your prayers are appreciated.

Oh my word! I will be praying for a quick answer / diagnosis and treatment... for a complete and thorough healing quickly.

Your prayers are appreciated. I agree with whoever said no immediate call from the doctor is a good sign. I have never had a CT scan or MRI done on the head. They and everyone else knows there is nothing up there. But I did watch my daughter sit and wait on an answer. The waiting and not knowing is a killer. Keep a good heart though my friend. The people doing the MRI on Tina got real excited about finding something the doctor needed to know. Turns out it was an Arachnoid Cyst. She has probably had it all her life and is not that uncommon. I will keep you in my prayers.
