I'm glad it was a Christmas gift...

ETA: There's no way I could afford that...

I like it, James!

Last year with my Christmas bonus, I got a coffee maker that grinds the beans and brews the coffee. It also tells me the weather for the day. It was something I had wanted but it was too expensive to buy for myself. When my boss gives us our Christmas bonus, we are at the mall and we have an hour to "power shop" to spend it on something that we really want for ourselves. It's so much fun!

Maybe next year, he'll take us to a car dealership......

I have one and I love it. There are different models though, mine is pretty basic. It does have a timer on it though, which is nice.

What'd you get, armydude?

I can't wait til my vacuum pot gets here!!! The coffee guru I spoke with said "it'll even make Folger's taste good" and, coming from a coffee snob like him, that's about the highest compliment he could give.

Are y'all still sitting on the Kopi Luwak?

Ok Coffee Club. The Cranky household caved and bought a Keurig today.

I love it when people follow my advice.

Kerr... Keurig... Kona... Kopi Luwak...

...Koincidence?

Ditto!

I think Doc was going to french press a pot of Kopi Luwak this weekend. I'm curious to see what he thinks of it.

It's going to have to be pretty good to top that sundried sidamo..... (which is considerably cheaper)

I have tried 13 of the 17 coffee brands that came with my Keurig.

Three were tea (like the Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange). Cocoa is good (Mrs. K has a couple of boxes of those).

Of the nine others, the ones I would definitely order are Green Mountain Breakfast blend and their Nantucket blend.

I like Gloria Jeans Hazelnut, the Paul Newman organic bold roast and the Celestial Seasonings sleepytime tea (at bedtime). Good stuff.

We recently received a Christmas package at work from a company that we do business with. Included was some coffee from an Iowa roaster. One blend is called Barn Happy. I don't think I want to know what the flavor is.

LOL Here is their website. I did not find the package the company sent us. It must have been a special order.

My favorite coffee is whatever kind Phyllis sets in front of me every morning.
How about a sports question?
Counselor: Who is or are the most famous athlete(s) who were at the same school as you, and that was actually in class with you?
Mine would be Walt Frazier, former SIU and New York Knicks basketball player at the same school, and Jim Hart, former Saluki quarterback and St. Louis (football) Cardinals quarterback, who was in the same Educational AV Materials class with me.

This is hilarious!!! We are ON TO SOMETHING, people! Ok, Mr. Cranky and I will buy some land and put some cows on it. Y'all send us coffee beans, and one of you can come do the "sorting", and WE HAVE A BUSINESS!!!!

I got a special invite to join the coffee club, and just couldn't pass that up!

Hi everyone

Yes, I'm a coffee addict lover. I just got the Keurig coffee maker for Christmas too, and am wondering how I ever survived mornings without it! My favorites are the fou-fou blends that sound like liquid dessert. In fact, by the time I add my vanilla coffee creamer, that's about what it is!.
