Hi Everyone!

Hi Sharon-Marie! The computer is much better, and a new router is installed.

Today we are going with Mr. Cranky on some jobs up in the mountains. It will be beautiful! I hope to see some pretty fall colors.

I'm loving the cool fall air.

I've been watching the National Parks series on PBS and thinking of Sharon-Marie and Cranky.

I think it would be cool to travel like that one couple did. No, not the couple that disappeared in the Grand Canyon, but the couple that would take off in their new Buick on extended vacations to visit as many national parks as possible.

All of this reminds me, has anyone read The Shed. I heard the author speak at Gaither Family Fest, and he was very impressive.

Oh yeah, she was thrilled.

The Shed? Do you mean The Shack?

Right, like the basketball player in Cleveland.

If you mean The Shack then, yes, I've read it.

Mrs. K has started it, but I have slim hopes. In fact, when I asked her if the name of the book she started was The Shed, she said yes.

The only three books she has ever read were Old Bones the Wonder Horse, Mrs. Mike, and The Thorn Birds.

I have been to Radio Shack many times.

I haven't read The Shack.

I'm currently reading Three Men In A Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) by Jerome K Jerome. It's hilarious.

I hope you don't mind, but I'm taking this seriously.

I have always wondered why biceps are referred to as "guns." Am I a hopeless blonde for not knowing?

Not guns but gunz. Urban slang.

I looked it up, and I found several responses, most of them vulgar. So I can honestly say that it seems to be a form of pride. "Look at my guns" has more punch to it than "Look at my muscles" so that's what's said.

I have never even heard of muscles being referred to a gun / gunz.
