Oh, I get it! Can I claim senior moment?

Order pizza SharMar and stay here with us.
What a sweet and tempting offer, Beckey!
However, with the airfare to get to y'all . . . that's gonna be one mighy pricey pizza! LOL

Does your mom live nearby?

No, she live here in Alabama.
Ahhh, there's that weirdness that Lioness and I love so much . . . shining brightly!

. . . she also asked me how come I don't do my grocery shopping while I'm doing my laundry . . . LOL . . . where and how would I carry everything

Taxi?
I have actually considered this . . . but I'm cheap frugal and I don't want to pay $10 bucks just to get home from the grocery store.

Getting a mule . . . LOL! Maybe I should consider that!

As to laundry . . . there are some things that I actually do wash here at home and line dry.
However, jeans and towels and such . . . those really do need to be machine-washed.

Can y'all imagine me as a pioneer woman before electricty?

I know what you need...you need a superhero to do it all for you!
I saw your video! LOL

May I put in my order for someone who dresses a bit differently than what was portrayed?

I have a ? for you. Do you keep your laptop in a case when you're not using it?

No, I don't.

I only use my laptop case when I'm not home and am transporting my laptop.

The rest of the time, it is either in my lap, or resting on the couch or coffee table.

Why?

Hubby bought me one for Christmas (before I lost my job). I was wondering how much I should concentrate at keeping it dust free. When I'm not using it, it stays here in the home office, about 3 feet from a window.

I'm really liking it even though it has Vista on it...so far so good.

That is a shame! I was spelling it wrong though, it's Gewurztiminer. I don't know if that makes a difference. It's really close to what we were spelling though.

I bought a bottle today at Costco. It's spelled Gewurztraminer.

So which spelling is correct? Did I buy the right stuff?

I've had my laptop for about 2.5 years now, and I treat it the same way I treated my desktop. Truth be told, I'm probably a bit rougher on my laptop (simply because it's attached to my hip and goes everywhere I go).

I have a feather-duster, which I occasionally use on the laptop.

Ironically I've noticed that it accumulated more dust in Pigeon Forge than it does here in Jackson.
'Course, right now, all the dust in Jackson is frozen under a tundra of ice and snow.

Unless there's a lot of dust coming in from the window near where your laptop resides, I'm guessing that a feather-dusting every now and then should be sufficient.

Oh good. That sounds very doable.

It's been pretty cool sitting in the living room at night checking out the threads. I'm diggin' it.

Your town's webcam is functional again. I've been enjoying it the last couple of days!

Oh cool!

I just went and looked.

I'm not wild about all that dirty snow, though. But, it's the price one pays to live out here. Town can get pretty grungy during snow melts and between fresh snow storms. But the Tetons are never like that. Nature is always beautiful.

Y'all have good afternoons; I need to go do some offline stuff
(of which going to the grocery store is not one of them . . . perhaps, tomorrow).

Hey! I just realized that it's not wind-storming at the moment!

Yay!!!

But, I'm still not going to the store today; I'm long over that.

Do you want to go to the store for me? We don't have wind, but there are several inches of melting slush/ice on the ground?

What's bolded is correct. At least, that's how it's spelled on the bottle I have. I'm sure you bought the right stuff.
Besides, I don't think there's another wine out there that carries such a close pronounciation.

Yeah? So?

Sounds like we live in mirroring towns, Kristin!

Besides, YOU're the one with a vehicle . . . if anyone goes to the store for the other, it should be you, for me.

Whoever asked...we went to see Four Christmases. Very funny. Good movie. Of course, Brian and I have fun wherever we go...so...if you don't have fun watching the same movie, perhaps it is just us? LOL

SharMar, I sincerely hope that is not how you are going to post for the entire year. Wow. Like a squirrel on Jolt. You did make me smile though.

It was quite a surprise. When I went to bed it was raining heavily. When I woke up, there was several inches of wet snow on the ground and the roads were a complete mess. It's all melting away now which of course, is making it even more of a mess, but at least it should be easier driving when I go home tonight. You know it's slick when you are going straight and not accelerating or breaking, and you are still trying to keep your car from wanting to slide off the road...

*edited because I can't spell today*

I googled all three, and all three gave me different wines.

Gerwinstraminer

Gewurztiminer

Gewurztraminer

I think this one is a spelling problem though, because the picture on the bottle has it spelled Gewurztraminer.

On the second link, though, the name on the bottle pictured is Gewurztraminer, so I guess it was mis-typed.

This one is a spelling problem too, because at the Tinhorn Creek site it is spelled Gewurztraminer.

My research leads me to conclude that people can't spell Gewurztraminer and drink Gewurztraminer at the same time.
