I have Asthma, COPD, Emphysema & now they seem to think I have fluid builting around my heart, so they've did their heart doppler, to which I won't know anything until most likely morning. Just PLEASE pray.

I think I posted last year a request for my friends baby. She had her as a preemie and the baby had a cleft lip and was going through a lot of issues with the birth. She just turned a year old on the 2nd of August. She's had a couple surgerys for the cleft lip and its now not there and is a very happy little girl.

I am now asking for prayer for her other baby. He was born saturday, I believe, and he wasnt due till November. He's 3lbs and 4oz.

Please pray for him that he'll turn out as healthy as Meredith did and please pray for this family. She has her hands full with a one year old and a preemie newborn.

I just got off the phone with Pam. Earlier today she had text me that his fever had broken, but this evening his blood pressure had dropped. The doctors are not sure what the diagnosis is. The blood culture has been sent to the CDC and is due back on Thursday.
Please pray that her father can be stabilized tonight and the cause of the illness can be determined.

Please pray for traveling mercies for me and my parents. We'll be leaving this morning and driving to Oklahoma for the funeral of Daddy's 100-year-old brother. It's a long drive from Georgia. We plan to be back Monday night.

Praying Diana and Donna for safe travels for Diana and parents. Praying for your uncle's family too. 100...WOW! What a long life he had.
Also I ask for prayer for handling a sticky situation with my youngest son's school over a bus issue. Harrassment! We live in a very white neighborhood. We love it here but this is also a very weathly area...we live in a townhome community across from upper 6 figure and into the 7 figure homes...if you get my meaning. My son is hispanic and even though there are a lot of adopted kids around our neighborhood we are still sometimes looked upon negatively. He has been getting harrassed and picked on on his bus especially in the afternoons. His bus driver is African American not that that means anything but you would think she would be more understanding of the racial issues still unfortunately common around these parts. Anyway...I told her this morning I would not tolerate any more...she went on the defensive and claimed my son wasn't innocent either. I told her I didn't think he was but I wouldn't tolerate anything from him as well. So...I've put a call into the school and I ask for prayer that I can say the right words to get my message across and get this issue resolved without getting angry.

Praying for these requests!
Please pray for wisdom as I handle a situation at work. A supervisor has clearly misused his time and abused his authority. We are reviewing to see if he has crossed too many lines to continue to work with or if we should try one more time.
He is a direct report to me and all trust is gone on my part but I also hate to see anyone lose a job when they have a family. Pray that we make the right decision for us as we address the issues.

I am so thankful that we have a God who doesn't feel like we're "pestering" him when we raise our prayers up to Him--repetitively! I am thankful that my God wants to hear from me at any time I want or need to come to Him. God is so good!

Hi my name is Rachelle and I have a good friend from Sri Lanka who is the same age as me - 18. She has just recently made a decision to follow Christ, but she lives with her family, who are Hindus. Just today she told her mum that she was going to get baptised whether her mum liked it or not. Her mum has now banned her from coming to youthgroup or playing netball with us on Tuesday evenings. My friend also is interested in our youth pastor's son (who also shares the same feelings) but her mum believes in arranged marriages and is doing all in her power to stop their relationship from developing. Please pray that my friend will stay strong in the Lord and that she will turn to the Lord for guidance as she has some important decisions to make. Please also pray for her mum,that the Lord will touch and soften her heart and eventually, become one of His. Thanks

Please pray for my family. My mom & dad are in a nursing home in the same room. Dad is on his death bed, just waiting on Jesus to call him home, which they say could be at anytime. It's gonna be hard on mom because they are in the same room and she is there with him all the time.
