Well, I was fortunate enough to be one of the very first to purchase Gold City's new CD before it even hits the streets and let me tell you it a good un'...LOL. I went and heard the new bunch last night and Bruce is a fantastic replacement for Jonathan Wilburn. By the way, Jonathan thanks for your 12 years of great service with Gold City. Bruce is very,very smooth and blends well with the group already and I know he will only get better as he gets more time with them. The new project "Moment of Truth" contains 10 songs, a few older tunes and several brand new songs. Cuts 3 and 10 will be familiar to southern gospel fans, I Cast My Bread Upon the Water is a Joel/Labreeska Hemphill tune and Cut 10 is a Dianne Wilkinson tune recorded by the Cathedrals years ago called "Turn Your Back" Aaron McCune does a fine job taking the lead on the song. I forgot to ask Daniel what song will be the first to be singled, but there are several worthy candidates. There are a couple of more progressive cuts on the project including "When Jesus Saves" penned by Sue Smith and Barry Weeks. Steve Ladd takes the lead on When Jesus Saves which is a very upbeat tune that the younger people really enjoyed last night when they performed it. Well, don't wanna ruin thing for everyone so I'll cut my comments short for now below is the entire song list on "Moment of Truth".
