quaidnewcome -> Pure Baritones (4/25/2008 3:53:07 PM)
|
Today it sounds like many groups have 2 lead singers, one singing the official "lead" part, one singing the baritone. But when you hear a pure, solid, smooth, rich baritone vocallist, he jumps out and grabs your attention. Let's take some time to nominate and reognize the best guys on the road today singing the part that glues a quartet's sound together. I can immediatley think of greats like the late Doy Ott , RW Blackwood, and Danny Koker. Living current/past singers certainly include Mark Trammell, George Ammon Webster, Scott Howard, Andrew King, Rick Fair, and Parker Jonathon. Who else is worthy of mention??
