(((((Kerr & family)))))

You are in my prayers during this difficult time.

------------------

I wanted to share as well, that I know my sense of humor is quite bizarre and warped. I grew up in a family like that, I've worked in places that pretty much required that kind of humor to survive, etc. I know that I have to be careful who I joke around with because I know this kind of humor can be offensive to some. I assumed this thread was a "safe" place to do that, but my intent was never, ever to cause offense or harm. I may be a bit warped, but I am a very kind and compassionate person and the last thing I want to do is put a damper on my group of friends here, so I can tone it back if people aren't comfortable with my sense of humor. I apologize if my attempts at humor were offensive. That was never my intent.

McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King I have enjoyed them all.

ATTENTION:
there are boiled peanuts in the Lion's Den.
The Lioness is picking up the tab. Go at'em.

What tab? The Lioness can't bail herself out of an oubliette how can she pick up the peanut tab?

Well there's your problem right there. One bails themselves out of a sinking boat; one simply walks out of an oubliette.

Really, Lioness, I'm surprised you didn't already know this.

You can't walk out of an oubliette. You have to climb out. There's still no bailing involved though. Unless someone were using a well as an oubliette and even then, where would you bail to?

Well you've got a point on that . . . and man did I walk into that one.

I posted that and thought, wait a minute, you can't walk out of an oubliette.

Oy.

It's late.

Maybe we should throw you in an oubliette so you can think about it for a bit...

Might as well eat worms while I'm down there.

I wonder if prairie dust would help in that regard . . .

Almost anything would be an improvement on plain worms, wouldn't it?

Well, anything but ketchup.

We eat ketchup on our scrambled eggs (the horrors!) . We went to a friend's house for brunch one morning years ago and she honest-to-Pete would not allow us to have her ketchup for our eggs! She wasn't joking.

But how can you eat a hamburger without ketchup? Isn't that a sin... somewhere?

I hope not! I don't put ketchup on my burgers. Just on the fries.

I don't put ketchup on anything.

Christi, y'all would have had to bring your own ketchup if you wanted to eat it with your scrambled eggs at my house.

First I want to tell Santa if I have said anything to upset him I am truly sorry. I would not do that for anything.

Second I want it known that some times I do eat catsup but not always. It depends on my mood. I do keep it in my icebox so as to have it when Alex comes over.

Third I want to tell Kerr I just spent time tonight in prayer for his Mother & Dad along with Cindy & himself.

Honorable Master Kerrlaw, I wish to subscribe to this illustrious thread.

It's probably none of the court's business but, you ARE wearing a full set of clothes under that robe, aren't you?

Define "full".

Your Honor. It is an honor to appear in your court.

The Court loves a good sucker upper.

But not enough to allow excessive baseball testimony.

You're a good man, Kerr. Have I ever told you that?

And just so I know what's safe and what's not, is football talk allowed?

That's the spirit.

Football and basketball talk are always allowed in court.

I'll have to catch up with the rest of what I've missed tomorrow.

It's time to fall asleep during Jay's monologue.
