2 Samuel 23: 11 ...Next to him was Shammah son of Agee the Hararite. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them.
12 But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down, and the LORD brought about a great victory.
May we all take our stand in the middle of our lentil patch (our families). God Himself will defend us, as he did Shammah and David's other mighty men!

Romans 8:32 He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
Romans 8:33 Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
Romans 8:34 Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us.
While I'm praying, it helps me to remember that God is on our side and that Jesus intercedes for us.
