It's really wet here. It's been raining alot. there is water lying on the ground with nowhere to go because the ground is so waterlogged. Thought I'd add some balance to the conversation

Good Morning Nicole, Garsy, Mvic, April, Barb and Gary!

34 degrees in Wyomming? Now thats cold!

It was fairly warm here yesterday. We are expected to get the remainments of Hanna today. They are talking 2"-4" of rain with winds up to 30 MPH! Now with all this you would think that I would stay home, right? No, I am a bastion for punishment and will likely actually do something today instead.

Cooler today. And it is finally raining! Yippie! Of course it did have to pick the days that my eldest dd and her 5th grade class are off on their class camping trip.

Blessings,

Garsy

Humble,

It is amazing the things you can learn about people on here without even as much as talking to them...

Pops..good luck with the job interview today

A tad chilly here this morning. 56 degree's so far. Suppose to reach 66 degrees tho. The sun is shinning. Looks pretty outside. Yesterday we had rain all day. So this is nice. I had my hubby start the fireplace before he left for work this morning. We had 64 degrees inside. A little chilly for my likeing. Now it's up to 68 degrees inside. I'm sure I will just let it burn out tho w/o feeding it more wood. Otherwise it will get too warm in here. Think this is the earliest we have started the fireplace.
Fall is in the air

Hi Barb

Your weather sounds like ours! I think it's gonna be a loo-oong Winter.
(If I said that before, which I do think I did... Sorry.)

Still don't have a fireplace. The electric company loves me so much.... that they send me special bills monthly. I wouldn't mind a bit if they would pick on someone else next year.

Hi April
Oh..I hope we don't have a harsh winter. We had enough of that/ and snow last winter!! We had record breaking snowfall. Don't wanna do that again
I LOVE our fireplace. We save sooo much on heat. $$$ Alot of work for my hubby and sons to cut up the wood tho.
We are up to 64 degrees outside now. It's 75 degrees inside tho. Did'ent even have to throw more wood in. It heated up really well.

"eating Grandma's peas"

Barb, that picture of your daughter is so cute!
Do you call her, 'Sweet Pea'?

I used to say that to my daughter and she grew up to be a vegetarian!

April,
That is my granddaughter, Isabelle, eating the peas. She loved them!
I should call her "sweet pea",, that's cute. We do call her "Izz" once in a while tho.
I have five children, but four of them are adults, and moved out already.
My youngest is gonna be 16 this Dec. he is a sophmore in high school.
I have FIVE grandchildren already.Oldest is three years old, and youngest is four months. (I'm holding him right now, trying to type and feed him)

Weather report from Wisconsin is 69 degree's so far and sunny

Hiya Popsi, now who says this is not talking?

I noticed today that it is starting to get colder outside, just 63º Fahrenheit. I will be needing to wear both a long sleeve shirt and a jacket coming soon.

Mike,

It is still too hot here. Maybe I should move to a colder state. I wish more leaves would start to change colors...

Hi Barb, now a fire sounds quite nice!

Hi Popsi, maybe you oughta move to Boston.

Its been cooler here this week. I haven't been hearing the weather forecast as much as I listen to Christian radio these days now. I will have to start paying attention and wearing my windbreaker real soon!
