If I go to the Pianorama it will be to see Jeff Stice. I think he is hands-down my favorite pianist.

Hope we see a lot of posters at NQC this year.

Maybe you won't be able to go this year. Why don't you make plans for 2009 - September 14 - 19. Is's never to early to start planning. Get you a jar and put your loose change in it every afternoon. You'll have nearly enough to make the trip.

Thanks Bobby, was wondering what the dates were next year. Did not think it would start on Labor day. We may try for next year.

Question for everyone: Would there be anyone available to get together either Wednesday or maybe Thursday before the Gaither/EHSS showcase?

I've been having some car troubles, and right now it looks like the only way I can make it down is to ride down with a friend who will come down Monday and leave for home right after the Gaither/EHSS Thursday showcase.

I don't mean to displace the main get-together, if that's when it's still best for everyone else, but it would still be nice to meet you.

Daniel, just go ahead and trade for a better vehicle and go the dates you planned.
See how simple that was to work out. You can thank me later.

GVfan and I aren't driving in until Thursday morning. If we get there in time, we could try to meet.

dm, we'll get there in time for the EHSSQ showcase, but I'm not sure how early we'll be. If you'll set up a place to meet, we will certainly be there if we can! I would hate to think we'd miss you entirely!!!!

Maybe anyone who is interested could just meet somewhere in Freedom Hall before the GVB/EHSS showcase.

Then y'all can met with everyone else later Thursday afternoon, after all the showcases.

Don't know what time they will open the doors to freedom hall Thursday. Think the showtime is 12:00. I'm sure people will be lining up way, way before that time. Probably will be nearly full if they only use half Freedom Hall like they usually do for showcases. They would be better off to use the full auditoriuim like the night sessions. This would give people a better seat and maybe they wouldn't have to go to the third heaven.

Donna, most of the showcases are at Executive Inn West, They usually start on Tuesday and run through Saturday. They start in the morning and last until around 3 or 4, one, two and three at the same time. Groups that are appearing at showcases usually have flyers at their booths. There are some showcases at Executive Inn East also. There is usually no set time a certain artist will sing. Promoters Showcase is on Tuesday this year insteat of Wednesday. It will start around 8 am and run till 1 or 2. Think they usually have around 30 groups that sing two songs each. Executive West is being remodeled so they may be a few changes this year. Diamond awards is usually Friday.

I'm going to be getting there Thursday, hopefully before the EHSSQ/GVB showcase, so I might be able to make it to the meet-n-greet.

Are any of you singing in showcases at NQC this year? If so, when, where and what showcase will you be performing in?

I just found out that the Promoters Showcase will be Thursday at the Executive Inn. Not Executive Inn West where it us usually held.
