MTT is in Bowdon, GA tonight. I'm gonna try to go.
Then, the HUGE St Jude Benefit concert is tomorrow night in Gainesville. I'll be there, too! Hope to see many of you there.
I used to play for "Liberty", so I'll be there to cheer them on. Lamar Newton (formerly of The Nelons & The Diplomats) was closer to being an "Original Liberty Dude" than me, so he's playing for them tomorrow night.
But I'm SUCH a fan of the group, that I'll be there FOR SURE!!! This is only about the 3rd or 4th performance by this particular version of the group in about 12 or 13 years. Gonna be GREAT!!!
Then Hope's Journey is at the church where I am "M.O.M." on Sunday night. Anyone heard this little group from ALABAMY? They're awesome.

Wow! I haven't seen Lamar in AGES!!!! That will be cool! I will be there! The concert starts at 6:00 does anyone know what time the doors open? Of course I can't wait to hear MTT and the Perrys again, never get enough of those two groups!

Doors usually open an hour early. Several of us will be there. Let's get together around 6:30 at MTT table.

Just learned the Perrys (I see them tomorrow night, too!!!) will be about 20-30 minutes from my house on 8/23! Twice in one month, that's what I call a good month!!!!

I know I will!!!! I'm going to try to get some of my church to the one on 8/23. Most of them have not seen the Perrys in person and I want to change that!

Sept. 21st Gold City will be at Oaklawn Baptist in Winston, I havent seen them since Aaron joined the lineup, so Lord willing I want be missing this one.

If you're west of Charlotte, NC or upstate SC area, you're invited to attend a concert event with Rick Strickland/American Quartet, the Carolina Quartet, and Southern Sounds (the NC local group, not the Nashville based Southern Sound).
I'll be there, playing keys for the Carolina Quartet and Southern Sounds.
It's Saturday, September 1 at 6:30 PM at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellenboro, NC.

I got stuck working at The Dips table. Their old friends, Jack & Joann who usually work for them at major concerts, weren't able to attend tonight. Foster & I stepped in and helped run the table. It was lots of fun, but in doing so, I didn't get to 'visit' as much as I normally would have.

Its about a 4 1/2 hour drive. Ohio SUCKS for concerts of the people I like. We always have to travel. Its like theres a guard around the state or something.
