I had already committed myself to be over there on the 8th. We might even go on the 7th.
BTW: Think Triumphant & Booth Bros. will be back in Rome next year, if they can get dates worked out.

Gotta decide whether I go see my friends Cedar Hill (Male Trio) or The Quicks (Mixed trio) Sunday evening, 8-03-08. They are both going to be at churches within just a couple of miles of me.

We just sat here and talked ourselves out of going to the Greene's Homecoming tonight. About a 3 hour drive plus we had unloaded the trailer that carries the photo equipment and put it all in the shed and now can't get to lawn chairs. Feeble excuse but at least there was an excuse plus tired from a busy work week.
We saw 3 of the 4 groups just a few weeks ago.

Who's going to St. Jude Benefit Singing tomorrow night in Gainesville, GA? Would you like to meet & greet there say at Diplomats table around 5:45. Concert starts at 6:00. If you haven't met Joe Brown would be a good time to meet him.

Thought y'all was going to the Mull Singing tonight.
We're going up to Gainesville tonight for Inspirations, Mark Trammell, Karen Peck & New River and the Diplomats. Its a benefit for St. Judes Hospital. They do a benefit each year for the Hospital. Tomorrow night going to Rome, GA to see the Galloways.

Tell Karen and Mark we said howdy. And Dustin also.
We were undecided about which one to go to. So finally checked and they still had a few tickets left in FBC for GV tonight so thought we would just go there. Probably will be sitting in the rafters but that is ok. Should be good seats anywhere in the church.

If I can get home fast enough next Friday night (2 hour drive from the police/dispatcher academy to my house), my son and I will then drive another 45 minutes to see Gold City in Falmouth KY. The following night we will be going to see the Kingsmen at the same place.
We could skip the Gold City concert and go see BF&A because they are only going to be about 15 minutes from our house. However, we saw BF&A twice last year but have never seen GC in person so that is the one we are going to.
Unless of course I am too tired to drive that far after I get home from the Academy!

Is anyone else going to the Ernie Haase and SS concert this Friday night, Aug. 8 in Cumming, Ga? This will be my first time to see them "in person". The church is only 34 miles from my house. I can't wait to see them!

Hope to go to Carrollton tonight for the Mike Pillow Benefit Singing, featuring Shadrix Trio, Enlisted and Hope's Journey. Old Paths may show up tonight if they got their bus repaired and got back home. They were supposed to be there last night but the bus was in the bus hospital in MD.
