There's a little ole group gonna be at Sunrise Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA, Sunday night. Think we might just drive over to hear them. Think it's something like SOUL'D OUT QUARTET. Some strange person call Hogfan, aka Tanner sings with them. They also have a tenor that recently joined them that is good Dusty. Want to see what they sound like now-a-days.

Bobby the guys said tell you hello. They sang as a trio tonight. Their new tenor wanted to give a notice at the church where he was a youth pastor and Alex had stayed a while past his notice. I just went brain dead with the new guys name but he's from Fayetteville, NC and filled in for Steve Ladd with the Anchormen when he got married.

If anyone doesn't mind the unbearable heat and humidity, we're going to be in concert with Hope's Journey at the Lineville (Alabama) City Park on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

I'm planning to catch the Blackwood Brothers tonight (Jimmy Blackwood's group, with Randy Byrd on bass). I'm pretty excited about it--it's been two years since I last (and for that matter first!) saw them.

Mark Trammell Trio, Whisenants & Diplomats this Friday (7/25), MTT & Perrys on Saturday and MTT singing, Mark Trammell preaching in the morning service on Sunday. Hillcrest Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama. What a homecoming! Woo Hoo!!!

Our choir practiced "Once Upon a Cross" with Mark last night for the Sunday morning service. Everyone is really pumped about it. For a podunk like me, seeing Mark Trammell singing in our choir practice with Jay Parrack leading us was a surreal experience. Whew!
See you Saturday!

The Melody Boys Quartet, my favorite Quartet, will be in Texas this weekend! I plan to be at all three concerts! Friday, July 25 they are in Bedford, TX; Saturday, July 26 they are in Hawkins, TX; and Sunday, July 27 they are in Jacksonville, TX. I would love to meet anyone from the Singing News Forums who can make one of the concerts!

Hubby asked last night if there were any concerts nearby that we could go to this weekend. I had already printed out details of the Mark Trammell Trio "Homecoming" and had gotten information on a nearby hotel! So, I casually mentioned that we could drive a couple of hours and see two groups that he likes (MTT and Perrys). He agreed!!! (Boy, did he walk right into that one!!).
We'll see you on Saturday night, DeeAnn!!!! 
Oh, also, Dinana has been all over my case about taking my camera with us. So, hopefully, I'll have pix to share with y'all when we get back. (But they won't be as good as Dinana's pix, so don't get your hopes up!!!)

Planning to go to Hiawassee - Georgia Mountain Fair - Sunday to see Dove Brothers, Ball Brothers and Steven Hill. There is a lot of things going on this weekend around here. The Fair, MTT Homecoming, Karen Peck Homecoming, Old Paths Sunday night just to name some.
We are a male quartet kinda of people so you see where we are going.
