We usually only get 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night. Sometimes less.
Alot of the folks go to Steak N Shake after the concerts. Some of the hotels start their breakfast buffets before we are done for the night. It's kind of like being at camp. The excitement never stops and you don't want to leave!!

Yea Daniel, you gotta stay up late, that's the fun of it all. I remember a couple yrs. back , the concert just lasted so long, i waited till the very end , and it was like 12:30 or later, and i came out and the last tram back to the Galt House had left, so i grabbed a cab, and took it back, then i went and got some food. It was like an adventure! LOL.

See I can do that without missing a beat cause we just sleep in in the mornings, then go shopping or hit some showcases in the afternoons. Very relaxing. 
Once I believe it was something like 1:15am by the time I had exited the building...

On my very first day at NQC, I had gotten up at 3:30 or 4:00 to get on the road to be in Louisville in time for a showcase at noon. That night the concert still wasn't over and I left at 1:00 am!!! That was a l-o-o-o-o-n-g day!!!

Hey, i see a lot of the "Old Fogeys" that stay till the very end too, so not all of them go in early!

Well, here's the deal: I'm driving down with a friend, and we both have rooms at a hotel in LaGrange. They typically stay until 10 or 11 each night, I found out, and if I want to get back I go when they do...unless, that is, someone else were to drop me off! :) (Hint, hint, Tyler! - but feel no obligation!)

Daniel like I said if anyone ever needs a ride that week hollar. even if it is a midnight run to their hotel. I won't be leaving till the preverbial fat lady sings lol

There are a couple of Steak N Shake's, we usually go to the one across the river in Indiana, I think it's at mile marker 5 or 6 exit, it's usually less crowded than the one closer to Freedom Hall. A lot of the performers go eat there as well. I could probably give you a ride Daniel, shoot me an email, I believe you have my email address and I'll give you more details on how to get in touch with me in Louisville.

There is one at Bardstown road, but when I stayed there (at the hotel across the street), it was PACKED... I had to walk over from the hotel and get mine to go, and just to get in, I practically had to get on the floor and crawl through legs!!! (not literally)

We need to come with a name tag to wear at NQC. If we do maybe we could find someones booth to go to and signup and pick up a name tag. This way those that are unable to attend lunch or other functions could spot one another.

, but I know how I am after a concert, even if it is really late at night. All I can do is go on and on about the groups we heard that night, the songs they sang, etc. It is really hard for me to immediately turn in for the night. You guys might have a better chance to meet after the evening concerts are over. But, then again, I am a hard-core night owl!
