Glad you may be coming over for the concerts, food etc. My seperate post was exiled. Thought I did it the right way, but guess not. Did not mean to err. We hope to be there. Have to put in for a day off from work. Hopefully we will see you there. It should be a good night. And the Greene's will be there also.

I just came in from a concert this morning at the Red Hill Church of God with Kirk Talley. I took my grandson who will be turning 10 next Thursday and a friend of his. We all had a good time at the service. Kirk sang and talked some about his life in the past and what is now going on in his life. The Rev. Larry Likens was also there. Kirk did alot of old favorites that he had written, and a few new ones. Also he did quite a few hymns and had people join him in the singing. In all I don't think there was anyone that really was ready to go home at the end, as we all stood at the product table buying and talking.

ORIGINAL: Smokymtnsanta Just got home from the Mull Concert in Sevierville, Tn. It was great. Tommy Spencer, Crystal River, Three Bridges and Tony Gore and Majesty. They all did good. First time to see Tommy Spencer and he did a good job. Crystal River's sounded good as a trio. Their new piano player, Tommy McKenzie did great. Did a wonderful solo. Dusty, their tenor, introduced his 1 month old baby. Her first concert. Three Bridges great as usual. Tony Gore and Majesty did a great job. John Lanier still has his dancing feet. And Calvin did good too. Enjoyed the entire evening. Did I tell you they all did GOOD! Next Mull sing June 30th. It will be a GREAT one. Will do seperate post for it. Tkts on sale Monday by phone. Santa Santa, can you tell me where or how to order tickets, I just talked to the group I had going the next week and they all said moving our trip up a week in order to go to this concert would be great! As soon as my daughter confirms she can get off that week, the rest of us are ready to go! And the motel had a vacancy where we wanted to stay!!!!

I believe they go on sale at 9 am Monday morning. Which reminds me, I need to turn in a time away card for work and hopefully Mrs. C. and I will be there.

Santa Hey Santa, I am coming over to the concert on Saturday June 30th. Hoppers, Booth Brothers and Ivan Parker; I am already anticipating it. I am making an entire day of it. I am hitting Dollywood in the morning to see Kingdom Heirs, going to Tony BBQ for dinner and then heading to the concert. June 30th, that's the same night that Legacy Five, MTT, Greater Vision and Danny Funderburk at in Winston Salem, decisions, decisions. It's about the same drive for either so I just have to decide which one I want (no, which I'll do cause I want to do both!!!!) That would be easy for me! I haven't had the chance to see the Cathedrals remembered days yet. (For that matter, I haven't seen the Hoppers, Booth Brothers, or Ivan either, but the Cathedrals remembered would still be an easy first pick!)

If I weren't seeing everyone but Danny Funderburk on 6/2 it would be a no-brainer! But I am and then will probably see MTT at least 2 other times in June. I haven't seen the Hoppers since NQC or the Booths since Nov. I'll see Legacy Five this week and again in June, just say MTT twice last weekend and 3 or more times in June so that makes it a little harder! I've left it at this, if Alicia can change her vacation, we go to Pigeon Forge, if not, I go to Winston Salem and we go to Pigeon Forge the next weekend.

Yesterday was one for the record books. Plans had been in place for a couple of weeks for me to see Mercy's Mark for the first time in Lawrenceville, GA Sunday night. I was going to meet Dinana and ride with her. Saturday I found out that MM would be in Hiram on Sunday morning, so I went, unknown to Dinana. This proved to be my undoing. I conspired with the guys to have some fun with Dinana at the concert that night. Dinana and her friend, Vera picked me up and we headed to Lawrenceville that afternoon. When we arrived in Lawrenceville for my "first" MM concert, the guys swarmed me, called me by name and treated me like a long lost brother. I with I'd had a picture of Dinana's face.... "You know him????" "Oh, yeah, we've been friends for a LONG TIME". Dinana and Vera are obviously very LOVED by MM, and we had a good laugh. Yesterday was a day I'll not soon forget. MM was incredible..... They exceeded anything I could have possibly imagined, and to see TWO full concerts in one day was almost too much to ask. Plus, I now have not only another favorite quartet but some new good friends. It's just gonna take me a long time to get out of the doghouse. LOL

Alicia got her vacation changed and we are on the 6th row the left side. Sounds like decent tickets though not the front row I love! LOL They told me the Hoppers are doing their 50 anniversary program too! That will be cool! And for those interested you can have a pre-concert dinner with the Hoppers for a little extra!

Dee Ann and others thinking about the June 30th concert. I forgot to mention the "All Access Dinner" before the concert. There is a restaurant next to the church and they will have a dinner so you can meet and eat with the Hoppers before the concert and enjoy a miniconcert by the Hoppers as well. Check out the website.

I've had a few hours to get over the conspiracy to tease me, so now it's pretty funny. I'm glad Jim got to see them twice! It was a great concert, but I discovered after I got to the concert that I had forgotten to put my memory card back in my camera, so I didn't get any pictures! I hope Jim will post his, since he was on the front row and should've gotten some great ones. Vera and I decided to sit right behind him on the second row. (We're trying to talk ourselves into not sitting so close because supposedly the sound is better further back -- so we compromised a little bit and sat on the second row!!) I also didn't take my little notebook, so I can't give a list of songs either! I just sat there and enjoyed the whole thing with a silly grin on my face!!! We're going to see them again Saturday night in Oneonta, AL, with the Dixie Echoes and Tim Lovelace. There are lots of MMQ fans there, so we're looking forward to seeing some of the friends we've made from other visits to Alabama to see Mercy's Mark.
