Well guys I posted several weeks ago that Christian Book Distributors was going to be releasing the Live At Oak Tree project on July 21st (Yesterday) But I checked again today and they have pushed the date back to July 31st . Its a bummer for me because I had pre ordered it and I was really hoping to get it this week but alas I must wait another week and a half. I also pre ordered Jubilee! I can't wait till mid August to get that one, I think the "Just Stand" Album will be released either at the Labor Day Celebration or during NQC. That is just my speculation not an actual release time!!!! I have no idea just making an educated guess, once they send it to the manufacturer it takes around 2 months to get all of the copies back. And since I believe they just shipped it off to the manufacturer that will put the release time around NQC...

My Mom felt so bad for me...She said she was going to help me buy a ticket to the Praisefest Texas!!! YAY!!! LOL!!! Guess it paid off to have my wisdom tooth taken out...haha! Still wouldn't ever do that again! I hope the other wisdom teeth never come in!!!! I'm SO excited...3 days of L5...What could be more awesome?!? =D

I love that video too, Scott singing "I Believe" is the most powerful moment on the the video. I wish that song had been released to radio.

Have you all ever heard Scott's testimony recorded at the end of track 5 on his We've Come To Praise Him album recorded live at Calvary Temple in Irving, TX on October 16, 1999? You'd have to have a heart of rock not to be moved when he talks about his father to whom he dedicated the next track (Yesterday's Preacher). He could have gone anywhere and done anything he wanted to in this life which makes it even more special that all he has wanted to do is serve the LORD of his life and to follow him whereever that takes him. What a witness to the faith he saw lived out by his dad and mom which is clear as he sings Bill Gaither's great old song "The Longer I Serve Him The Sweeter He Grows." When Scott sings "I Believe" there is no doubt but that he means every word of Roger's song. I Beleve - Legacy Five http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SViGnArNRM

I am glad you mentioned that kingsman, I just got that CD in today I found it on amazon. Scott's testimony is very touching. And he sings "The Longer I Serve Him" better than anyone I have ever heard! I may try to post the audio of that testimony and songs along with a picture collage of Scott on my Youtube channel.

That would be fantastic. I think others would definitely enjoy the song and would be blessed by hearing Scott telling how much his father meant to him. Looking at Scott's life over the last ten years and what he did to support Roger Bennett, we have seen the man and the mark of Jesus on his life is evident.

ORIGINAL: dagogga I didn't know Roger wrote 'I Believe'! Is this album, 'We've come to Praise Him', a Cathedrals album? Actually it is an out-of-print CD entitled We Have Come To Praise Him! (Live) that Scott released about the time the Cathedrals retired. This album was recorded live at Calvary Temple in Irving, TX on October 16, 1999 by Dove Music which sponsored this Praise Celebration. Scott Fowler was joined by The Sound out of Houston and by DeDe Chadwell of the TBN Network. Scott gives his personal testimony at the end of Track 5 and dedicates Track 6 to the memory of his father who was also his Pastor. This was one of two CDs Scott released in his own name. The second was called Something New, Something Old. I have most of the Cathedral albums in my collection and have been fortunate to add the CDs from George, Glen, Ernie and Scott which were released when the Cathedrals retired in 1999. It's my privilege to play all their CDs on my SGM internet radio station @ ksgm.com. There are many great groups in SGM but there will never be another group quite like the Cathedrals. I also have most of Kirk's CDs; now I need to find CDs released by Danny and other former Cathedrals members.

I was wondering what year that album was done in... For some reason I thought it was done several years before. Mostly because Frank Seamans was also on that video and I thought he left the Sound in the early 90's. Thanks for the information its possible that Frank was only with them on a limited basis. I know he was a choir director for quite a few years before joining Legacy Five in 2004.

Thanks for the information, Kingsman. I do hope this project will be available again, sometime in the future. All the best!
