Well Katie they have 3 releases upcoming... One which should be released very soon is the Live At Oak Tree CD/DVD Combo it will feature I believe all of the songs from their Decade CD... the DVD will give you a look at what it takes to make a recording and also will feature stories on the songs they sing on the CD/DVD. Frank Jr. will be on it with his dad talking about the battle with cancer, I will say I am looking forward to that one.. also The Booth Brothers and Greater Vision will be releasing similar projects on the same day... Then a little later on hopefully around August or September (Don't Quote Me On That) there should be a joint project released with L5 GV and The Booth Brothers that promises to be a great one!!!!! then Legacy Five has a new CD coming out of just them in the next 2-3 months!!! It is a major label release with some great songs on it 2 of which the Liberty Quartet have covered. The next 3-5 months will be very fun as I anticipate these upcoming releases!!!!!

Oops.. my bad about the Walk With Me thing.. it might have helped if I would have actually watched the clip!!! My bad again . I wish they would do another Heritage project AND another Cathedrals project!! I really want them to do I Know a Man Who Can, Wedding Music, Moving Up to Glory Land, and Standing By The River for sure!!!!!!!!!! I love all of those old ones!! I just got my e-letter and it tells alot more about their upcoming projects!! The Oak Tree Studio project does have Frank and Frank Jr. singing on it! I'm touched that they would share something that special with us. I'm so excited about their Lari Goss project "Just Stand", Scott said he thinks that this will be received as the best project they've done yet!!!! There's alot more about that project and others, so if anybody doesn't get an e-letter, let me know and I'll post it here. I bet that they would sign your pictures:-), you could email Frank and ask him . I know I'd like to have mine signed!!

Ok!! FINALLY, here's the first review!! Sorry it's taken us so long:( This one's from the first concert in Marshall. Once upon a time... Far, far away....... ok maybe I'll just cut to the chase!! The concert started at 7 PM and the doors opened at 6. We live about 2 hours from Marshall, so we were planning to leave no later 4.. we didn't leave until about 4:45!! Needless to say, we were freaking out because we were afraid we weren't going to get a good seat. We were getting more and more frustrated as the minutes ticked by, but we just started praying that the Lord would help us to get good seats. We made good time and got there at about 6:30. When we walked through the doors, we saw all 5 of the guys talking to folks outside of the auditorium. It was really hard because we wanted to stop and talk to them.. or at least wave at them! , but we had to find a seat before there weren't any left. My dad walked down to the front of the quickly filling auditorium, and found 5 empty seats in the middle of the second row!!!! WOW!!!! And who was sitting on the end of the row, but Glenn's mother and grandmother!!! It was really nice to see his mom again(who immediately remembered us from the concert at their church in West Monroe) and it was really sweet to meet his grandmother . L5 was the featured artist of the evening, but there were 3 local groups that sang for about 45 minutes before L5 came up. I enjoyed their songs.. but I'll be honest we were about to go nuts waiting for L5!! When they finally came up , everyone gave them a standing ovation just for walking on stage!!! They kicked the concert off with "What A Friend" the first time I'd heard that one in person, it's simply beautiful!! Then they went straight into "The Moment I Get Up There" then "Strike Up The Band" which I had been wanting to hear lately!! Glenn sang "I Have Been Changed" WOW is that a powerful song!! I liked it alot on the CD, but I really think I got the message of it better in person!! You can tell how much that song means to Glenn.. It was one of my favorite songs that they did that night. Scott then introduced Tim and told the story about the lady having him put a pedometer on his foot his foot at a concert (he tapped his foot over 4000 time that night!!) then he went right into "In My Heart There Rings a Melody", which I never get tired of;) It was really awesome, and we gave him a standing ovation for it!!(just so you know, we gave them a standing O as often as we could!) Next they sang 4 of my most favorite songs(well, all of them are my favorite;) in a row!! "I Found Grace", "Take It To The Cross", "What Faith Does" and Scott told the story about Preston at Christmas time which made a platform for "God's Been Good"!!! AMAZING is all I can say!!!! The atmosphere was wonderful. Scott led the audience in a few songs(God is So Good, O Come Let Us Adore Him), then he prayed and just thanked God for being so good to us. During the intermission, we made our way to the table and picked up Tim's new CD(AWESOME!!!!) the Homeland Harmony song book, and a couple of the new t-shirts. It was really busy so we didn't get to talk for long, but we got to say hi to Howie and we were able to talk to both Glenn and Frank for a minute . it was awesome to see them!! They all looked rested and relaxed. We didn't get the chance to talk to Tim or Scott, but we left our song request with Glenn and headed back to our seats(the other groups had already started singing again). They kicked off the second half with the old favorite "Feelin' Fine" then they went straight into "I Go To the Rock" it was awesome!! They really brought the house down with that one(another standing O;)!! Next they sang "Vessel of Mercy", Scott said that they don't do enough songs like that one.. no soundtracks, just Timmy playing the piano(I agree!!!!). The next one was "Peace When I Leave it in Your Hands" It was mine and Katie's FAVORITE song of the evening; I've never heard Frank sing it more passionately!! I can't describe it, but it was absolutely beautiful:) Scott said that it was the first time they'd ever done it without a soundtrack.. You guys HAVE to request that one, I'm going to upload it to Youtube, but it's so much better in person! Tim played a beautiful hymn called "His Name is Wonderful" and Scott continued to lead the audience in singing it. The atmosphere of worship was wonderful.. they really have a gift for putting all of the emphasis on the Lord and bringing His presence:) Scott continued to talk about how truly wonderful the Name of Jesus is. I loved the way he said that Satan is scared of Jesus. I'm going to put that part on Youtube too, because I can't say it like he did;) They ended their portion of the concert with the ever-amazing "Truth is Marching On" (need I mention the standing ovation? ) Then they brought all of the groups back up to finish the night with "He Set Me Free". The emcee asked Scott to lead in prayer, then everyone was dismissed. Everybody started filtering out and we were gathering our things up to leave when I notice Tim walking down off of the stage(rather quickly). He turned and started walking by the front of the stage and when I realized he was going to walk by us on the way back to the entrance, I tapped Katie(who was bent over picking up her purse etc.) and I was like" hey look! Tim's about to walk by!!" I was thinkin "hey, maybe we can wave at him as he goes by!". Then he- ........Ok guys, now this is Katie typing. I thought I'd give Naomi a break and let you get a look at it from my perspective!.lol. ;-) Ok, like Naomi said I was bending down picking up my purse and some fliers we had on the floor, and all the sudden I feel Naomi whacking me in the shoulder saying something about Tim. I stand up and I'm all like, Huh? Then I look over and see Tim walking up to us from the stage! He walked up and said, "Hey girls!" He gave Naomi a hug then turned and gave me a hug!!! It was so cool! I hope I wasn't standing there all wide-eyed with my mouth open or anything.lol. He said it was really good to see us again, and I was like, well it's GREAT to see you too!!! He was sooo sweet!! He greeted my family and we stood there and talked for at least 20 minutes. Tim is just so awesome. He has got to be one of the sweetest most humble people I know. Actually all the guys of L5 have to be the some of the sweetest people I've ever met! After we talked to Tim we went back to the lobby and saw Scott at the table packing up the products. We got to talk to him about some of there upcoming projects and some other stuff. We also talked to him about his FaceBook. It was so funny because he said he didn't even want a FB and kind of accidentally set up a page while he was just trying to look at Tim's page.lol. It was so great to get to talk to him!! It was really cool because we were like the only ones left in there so there wasn't a line of people or anything. Scott was SO cool and sweet! Frank walked up and we got to talk to him for a while too! We just chatted for a while which was so cool! We also got to talk to him about Frank Jr and asked him if he was leaving the group. I already wrote and told y'all what he said about that so I won't write it all again. Frank is just so awesome and he has such a sweet spirit about him. I know I keep saying it over and over again, but they all are just so sweet and awesome!! Just so you know, me and Naomi are both writing this review, so anytime you see where we wrote "I" you can replace that with a "we".lol. ;-) Ok.. now I (Naomi) am writing again!! That just about wraps it up!!! I realize the review is really long, but I know Katie and I always enjoy long reviews, so we really wanted to try to "bring you guys to the concert" with us ;) I hope y'all enjoy it.. and if you just want the short version next time, let us know!! Oh, and hopefullly we'll give a review of the Gainesville concert in a couple days.

WOW!!! Great review!!! I wish I would have been at the concert you guys were at!!!! Even though you had to listen to three local groups before you heard L5, it sounded like you guys still had an AWESOME concert . . . . After reading your post, I'm a little disappointed at the L5 concert I attended last night. Which is shocking, because I thought I would never be disappointed with L5! So here's a little review from last night. (I'll try to keep it as positive as I can!) The church in Jefferson City was very large, I would say it could seat 1,000 people. The concert started at six and we arrived around five-thirty. (Katie, Naomi, we were freaking out too!) When we walked in, I noticed all the guys were at the table and they looked pretty bored because they were the only ones standing there. So when we claimed our second row seat, I immediately went back to the table so I could get the God's Been Good DVD and the By Request boxed set. When I reached the table, only Glenn, Scott, and Howie were there. So I purchased my stuff and Glenn chatted a little with me, so that's when I slipped in my request for "I Stand Redeemed", then I went back to my seat. Legacy Five started off the evening with What A Friend then went into Strike Up The Band. The church had camera's set up from three different angles and filmed it, which was cool. The guys were really wound up. Frank came on stage with the biggest smile on his face and it never left him. Tim was just pounding on his keyboard . . . He was really happy too. But what wasn't cool was when they ended the first set and they only sang eight songs! Yes, that's right - EIGHT songs! *** Frown*** Scott spoke two different times, for about a total of fifteen minutes during the first half, so I figured we would get a FULL concert since he was taking that much time out of singing. I was wrong; the first set only lasted 41 minutes - that's including the talking. When the guys walked off the stage and Scott handed his mic to the pastor, I was like, "You have got to be kidding me"!!!!! I looked at my watch and it was 6:41 pm!!! SCOTT DIDN'T EVEN INTRODUCE EACH MEMBER IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE CONCERT!!!! (They didn’t do any introductions that evening) The church took up an offering, L5 did a ten minute CD pitch, then they came back and sang. So I thought, "No intermission? This is very strange." Scott announced they had some requests at the table, and at that time they were going to sing them. He said, "I bet I Found Grace was on the list, lets sing that one". After that they sang, Why Wouldn't I, What Faith Does, God's Been Good, (they did not sing I Stand Redeemed), Scott handed his mic to the pastor again (at that point I was like "Don't tell me the concert’s over already?!!) The pastor gave an altar call and L5 ended with Feelin' Fine. That's when I figured out what the problem was, the church only gave L5 one hour to sing! They sang great, it just didn’t seem like a real L5 concert. After the concert we hung around for a little while, I wanted to get my picture with Scott because he's the only one I don't have a picture with. So when we saw that there was only one couple at the table and they were still looking at CD's my sister and I went over and asked if I could get my picture taken with him. He said yes, and came out from behind the table and my sister took the picture. After the picture, he told my sister, "nice camera", and walked away. I looked at my sister, she looked at me and asked, "What do you want to do now?" I said, "I think that was a hint that we should leave". So that's what we did. I was disappointed because the concert was so short. We drove three and half hours (seven hours round trip), and it seemed like they just started singing and had to stop! I guess that's the churches fault. Katie and Naomi - you are so lucky that Scott talks to you guys. There were only two people at the table who were still looking at CDs, he didn't have to walk away, he could have stayed and talked, I guess he just didn't want to. Don't get me wrong, I love L5 - I was just disappointed this time because the concert was so short. I guess if I want to see L5, I need to come to Texas, huh? P.S. I have some great concert pics to share! I'll let ya know as soon as they're uploaded!

ORIGINAL: FrankSeamansisCUTE Great review guys!!! AWWW...RogerBennett_Fan!!! I'm SO sorry!!! I hate it when stuff like that happens. Especially when you traveled so far. Aww...I feel so bad. You should definitely come to Texas for a concert...lol! Hopefully you will be able to see them again, soon...and you'll have a better time. Oh, yeah...Sorry...another random question. I think this was already asked, but I'm not sure...Why is Glenn's nickname Cuz??? Thanks Katie!!! Yeah, the guys were really charged up and gave it their all. . . it was just WAY TOO SHORT!!! Frank and Tim were really beaming with joy. Hey, how close are you to Dallas? If we ever go to Texas, I'm going to make sure it's when L5 is going to be there! I don't know why the guys call Glenn, Cuz. I'm sure there's a story behind it though! Sorry the concert was so short, Lynn . Maybe the whole thing will be better next time . You should TOTALLY come to Texas!!!!! Unfortunately, there aren't many more L5 concerts lined up for us this year.. actually the only one is Greater Vision's Praisefest in Fort Worth. I reeeeally wanna go to that one!! Another one I wish I could make it to is their concert in Iola, KS with GV and the BBs!! But it's like 9 hours away . I personally would drive that far in a heartbeat, but we're just not able to(work and finances etc.). I would love to know the story behind "Cuz" too!! It seems like they've called him that from the beginnin.. I wonder if Roger had something to do with that one . lol.

I will see them at the beginning of August at the Brumely Sing and at Silver Dollar City in September. Praisefest sounds awesome, but I hear it's a really high ticket price. . . is that true? You know what? I think Iola, KS is around 9 hours from where I live too!

That would be such a bummer that it only lasted an hour. Makes you wonder why the church would have them come and only let them sing for an hour... And don't feel bad towards Scott. I know he would never intentionally make you feel unimportant or be impersonal. He may have had something else on his mind at the time or something may have been going on "behind the scenes" that we don't know about. I just know for a fact that he really does care about and appreciate all the fans. Just be in great expectations that the next concert will be a knock-out!! And you REALLY need to come to a TX concert!!!!! That'd just be too cool! Oh, and I'm glad you got the new GBG DVD!! Isn't it great?!?! And I can't wait for all there new stuff to come out! That makes no sense to me . . . it's not like there was another group they had to share the time with! Yeah, I wouldn't want to have to be a group owner . . . it seems like that could be a really stressful job. It just seems like every time we see L5 he's always busy or he's doing nothing and doesn't converse when you try to talk to him. (I haven't really figured him out yet . . .) I would love to come to Texas for a concert! It would be soooooo cool to get together with you, Naomi, and Katie! The DVD was awesome! I love the way Scott was filmed at his house, that was so neat! The "special guest" on In A Million Years was my favorite part. The guys looked like they were trying so hard not to laugh! quote:

I love it when groups put out videos to go along with there CD's!

ORIGINAL: texjoy777 We should totally do that!!! It would be really awesome I want to go to the Praisefest sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad (ya think?)!!! It's just going to be the Lord if we make it because I figured it up and it's going to cost at least $800 for us to go(tickets, lodging, fuel costs etc.)..... I don't know if we can do that.. But I'm praying it'll work out if it's the Lord's will for us to go ok know I have a question... What's your favorite L5 DVD??? My favorite DVD is Live in Music City. I love the songs off of it - especially Roger singing Lord, Stay Close To Me. (Such a powerful song!!!) He was such a story-teller too! I hope you guys can go to Praisefest! It's amazing how things can work out when the Lord is in it! We weren't planning on going to the Brumley Sing up here in MO at all, then at a SGM concert a lady sat in front of us who happened to have two extra tickets and she said we could have them! So now we're going to the Brumely Sing with our new friend!!!! So hang in there - you never know what can happen!!!!!! quote:
:ORIGINAL FrankSeamansisCUTE I know I'm a horrible fan, but to be honest...I don't have any of their DVD's ...I want them, but never really have the money to get them. But, I have seen some clips on youtube of the Live in Music City DVD. That one looks pretty cool...from what I've seen anyway...lol! BTW...I finally uploaded...haha...one video on youtube (well, actually two...but the other one is just of me giving Scott a hug...lol). It took forever, but it's up...should I post a link? Hopefully I will be able to upload some more tonight! You're not a horrible fan!!!! Cause if your a horrible fan, I am too! I don't have half of L5's product!
