Josh, people just don't REALIZE what a powerhouse this line-up is, do they?
If they're in concert nearby and you don't attend, you've missed a HUGE blessing!
Not only are they powerful on-stage, but they sing with conviction, have a great sense of humor,
and what song selection! Whether they're new or old, the songs are super!!!

Most importantly, they are out there to make a difference in peoples lives, and it shows.

Absolutely agree. They put their hearts in the music and it blesses my soul to hear them at work.

I know they had quite a few guys who sang lead and baritone with Foxy and Jim always kinda hanging around and singing off and on. I would think it might be one of those guys, like Ed Crawford, Arthur Rice or maybe Squire.

Oh, I don't know if it counts, but didn't Tim do it twice? I know he was lead back in the 90s, then came back as baritone when Randy Crawford was lead, but did he switch to lead again when Jason Selph was briefly singing baritone???

I think the 2nd time with Surrett, he stayed baritone and then was replaced by Tony Peace.

Oh, he didn't move to lead when Randy Crawford left? I thought he did, but that's been a few lineups ago!!! haha!!!

I thought it was like this:
Tim came in as Baritone with Randy as lead.
Tim was lead with Selph as Baritone
Tim was Baritone with Phil as lead
Tim was replaced by Tony.

I think that's right, but like I said, its been a few years.

According to SGhistory.com I'm right. It shows him as being lead between Randy C. and Phillip Hughes.
It shows him as bariton 2002-2003 and lead 2003-2004. It may have been a very short time. I only think he was on one album (Born Again) as lead.

Oh, you guys are so close! We know the first two are Bryan Hutson (lead to baritone) and Tim Surrett (lead to baritone).

There is one more. Remember the question .... who left and came back to a different position . . .so that isn't Big Jim, Squire, Arthur, or Ed.

Keep trying guys! You might have to dig a little deeper for this . . . I didn't even recognize the name, but you'll get it if you keep trying!

Wayne Mallard switched positions, but I don't think he left the group.

Although remember , Hamill DID leave the group and come back, when he left to sing with the Senators back in 76, for less than a year.

Here's a NEW trivia question:

The "Proven Time and Time Again" (2000) recording which had a #1-"The Next Cloud" and a #2-"Getcha To The Other Side".
"Proven" was NOT the original title of that project.
It was changed about a month before being released.

What was the original title?

A bit hokey? I didn't think so. It was worded to make you think, and that it did! So IMO, that makes it a great question!

I'm going to go with an obvious answer: Getcha To The Other Side.

Are there any other groups who have used interchangable parts the way the Kingsmen used to when Eldridge and Jim would sing some and sit some out.

Inspirations did it all the time with Archie & Jack. But we don't want to talk about that on the KINGSMEN thread! lol

Hey Bryan, you really threw out a stumper!!! Is Seaton correct?

It is not "Getcha To The Other Side". I will give you all a hint:
The original title (that was not used) was a song title.
