I do. I actually had it on cassette originally, as soon as it was out, then got it in CD a year or so later at a concert.

ORIGINAL: BryanHutson March, 5, 1998 @ Campbell County High School in Jacksboro, TN. I Love to Tell, Even John Couldn't Tell It, Master I See, Heading Home, O What a Saviour, Some Sweet Day, When They Call My Name, Jesus Won my Battle on Calvary, No Room for Doubt, Come to the Water, You're Not Alone, Here comes the Bride, I Stand Upon The Rock of Ages, Say a Prayer for me, Traveling Home, Not a Moment to Lose, Jesus is Mine, What a Day that will Be, Amazing Grace, and Farther Along.. Just thought it would be neat to see what they were doing back then, compared to the songs they are doing now. Haha..well, Bill you have admitted that you have not seen the current Kingsmen, so how would you know what we have been singing? haha! We have been doing "O What A Savior", "When They Call My Name", "What A Day" and "Amazing Grace" ALL on occasion.,but not every night. We don't do those other songs because those songs are no longer available (for the most part) on our product table. We sing a song, someone comes to the table to purchase it, we don't have it. Yes, there are those songs that The Kingsmen will have to keep in the list of songs, but if we spend our program doing OLD Kingsmen songs, we would NOT have a slot for NEW songs. We are working on a new "mainline" recording to be released in September. Also, we are doing a Honor the Heritage Vol 3..some of the tunes are; "Traveling Home", "Holiness Fire", "I'm So Glad That Jesus Saved My Soul", "Called Out", "When My Feet Touch The Streets Of Gold", "He's All I Need", "When They Call My Name", "Inside The Gate" and 2 others. Bill..come out and see us! Blessings. Sounds like a good line up of songs for Volume 3 Bryan. I really like the idea of the Honoring the Heritage Collection. I mean it's really limitless as far as songs go. When you look back at the Kingsmen catalog of songs, you could realistically go 10 or 12 volumes. Do you know if there are any plans of re-releasing any old videos, ala, Gold City's Heritage Collection. In each volume there were 3 DVD's of old Gold City videos from the 80's up into the 90's. I for one would love that!!!! I know I haven't seen the current group, that's why I was asking:) If I had, I would have known, hehehe..just messin with ya!! So basically, there's not ANY song that you all have said over the years, this song HAS to be in the lineup, just several that you sort of rotate through? That's really what I was curious about. I will try to see you all, whenever I get the chance at a fairly low price. I see that you all are in Jamestown, TN. this fall. That is my next real opportunity to get out to see you guys. I'm gonna try real hard to make that one.

Speaking of Honoring The Heritage Vol. 3....I for one would LOVE to this lineup do "Beulah Land"! They sang "Beulah Land" friday night here in Fitzgerald, GA and Bryan did an awesome job! Also at that concert I got to help the Kingsmen sing "Stand Up". I got to share the mic with Bryan and then during the song Bryan asked me if I wanted to sing bass with Ray and I couldnt pass up that opportunity so I did! Lol...Also, Phil wanted me to sing a line in one of the verses of "Stand Up" but I couldnt remember the words It was an AWESOME night quote:

ORIGINAL: DJSfromCleveland With all the Classic Kingsmen songs in their library of songs, they could sure make quite a few volumes of these Honor the Heritage projects. Of for sure. Like I said in my earlier post, I could see 10 or 12 without really having to get into obscure songs. If you think about it, in 10 yrs, you could see songs off of the Carolina Boys albums, as well as My Past is Passed, Good Good God and When God Ran. Of the 2 that are out so far, I think Volume 1 is the best, partly because of song choice and party because of Randy Crawford's killer lead vocals. For me, "Can You Imagine" is hands down the best performance on that album. Randy and Jerry really nail it.

It gives me the chills everytime I listen to it! It's so powerful!

ORIGINAL: KingsmenQuartetFan oh ok...I was disgusted at the attendance of the concert though but the crowd was lively and very responsive Josh, people just don't REALIZE what a powerhouse this line-up is, do they? If they're in concert nearby and you don't attend, you've missed a HUGE blessing! Not only are they powerful on-stage, but they sing with conviction, have a great sense of humor, and what song selection! Whether they're new or old, the songs are super!!! Most importantly, they are out there to make a difference in peoples lives, and it shows.

I agree...They are very much a powerhouse and I hope and pray that they get the recognition they deserve this year at NQC. Everytime I see them in concert I always receive a blessing and they do sing with such conviction and they are very hilarious! quote:

ORIGINAL: DJSfromCleveland I am always dissapointed that they don't get more stage time at NQC. Well, i guess they have a lot of groups to go through. But, it just seems to me that they don't get as much time on stage during the week that they used to. Yeah, I agree that the Kingsmen don't get enough time on main stage at NQC. There are some groups that are on almost every night, and the Kingsmen only get two slots for the WHOLE WEEK!!!! (At least that's how it was last year.) That's terrible! A 50 year legacy deserves to be showcased more than that! Sure, there are a lot of groups to see and hear at NQC, but since main stage starts at six o'clock and ends at midnight (most of the time), and some groups are on more than three times in one week - I don't think NQC is hurting for time to showcase groups. Don't get me wrong, I love NQC . . . but I do think the Kingsmen should be on main stage more than twice in one week!
