I think they should let Phillip Hughes go and let Bryan sing lead. I like Bryan over Phillip any day.

That is not a proper statement to make in a public forum. How would you like for someone to say that about you. I know folks are entitled to their opinion but that is a comment that ones keeps to themselves. I guarantee Bryan does not look at it that way.

I for one am thrilled that Bryan Hutson is coming back!!! That will be huge for the Kmen. Who's gonna sing lead now? Bryan? He sang lead before. Why doesn't Phillip switch to baritone, and have Bryan sing lead? That's what I'd do if I were group manager. I think the lineup of Jeremy on tenor, Bryan on lead, Phil on baritone, and Ray on bass would be dynamic. Does this mean Ray will resume the emcee role?

Phil has a good voice, and I think his stage presence resembles a typical baritone's above a typical lead. Whereas Bryon is a natural at singing lead, and has one of the smoothest, most classy stage presence's I have ever seen.

Thanks. Is it just me, or do Ernie, Gary, and Johnny all sound somewhat alike?!? Or is it just because of poor recording quality that they almost sound the same?

I can see where you say that Ernie and Johnny sound kinda alike, but not Gary. Gary is in his own league. Nobody else sounds like him

I don't think Ernie Phillips and Johnny Parrack sound similar at all, except that both have high voices. Johnny has and had more vibrato, while Ernie had one of the most straightforward, clear, unadorned smooth tenor voices I've ever heard

I find that Ernie Philips and Johnny Parrack sound a lot alike when they are singing with the group. Most of the time you can tell them apart when they are singing a solo part.

Yes ERnie and Johnny can sound very similar when singing with the group. Ernie is a little more nasaly than Johnny.

Now Gary does sound totally different he can sing nice and smooth, but when he goes up for those real high notes he has a shrill sound.

My friend once told me he thought Gary sounded like Bugs Bunny. LOL.
