With my wife, we are going to go through The Purpose-Driven Life by Rick Warren; our bible study is going to go through the Exemplary Husband, by Stuart Scott, and the Excellent Wife, by Martha Peace. Personally, I'm finishing up Jesus among other Gods by Ravi Zacharias.

i'm reading Gandhi's Autobiograhpy.......also reading The Case for Faith, and Every young womans battle.
Just finished David Copperfield.......by Charles Dickens.....that was a wonderful read!!!!!

I'm reading Blessed Child by Ted Dekker and Bill Bright. Its the first book I've read by Dekker and I'm anxious to read more of his because this is a very good book. I am also ready Prodigals, and those who love them by Ruth Bell Graham. A very good book for anyone with a prodigal.

after i want to start the oprah's summer with faulkner, as i lay dying, and i also just bought narnia by cs lewis.

I'm currently reading three books. The Stand by Stephen King (for the umpteenth time) and Chronicles vol. 1 by Bob Dylan. And the Evidence for Jesus by Dunn.

Netochka Nezvanova by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. It was an unfinished work, which is good because there can be no tragic ending if there is no ending. I hate tragic endings.

BlowFly by Patricia Cornwell--but I'm getting kinda sick of it (the characters are becoming more obviously anti-God)
So I think I'll start reading Monster by Frank Peretti this evening.

I just finished reading Graeme Goldsworthy's, Preaching the Whole Bible as Christian Scripture and Wayne Grudem's, Systematic Theology. I am currently re-reading J. I. Packer's, Knowing God as well as Millard Erickson's, Christian Theology. I am also reading through John Calvin's commentary on the gospel of John.

I read Blowfly last year....kinda thought the same thing. Then I heard an interview by P.Cornwell, or about her, don't remember. The idea behind her books getting "worse", is alittle like following man's depavity...that eventually leads to redemption. I got the idea that while the characters are getting worse, there will be a time of turn around and perhaps redemption of some sort.

"gatorgirl"... that's funny! actually, "gtrgrl" means "guitargirl," but that's okay! I like "Paul" pretty well. It's teaching me a lot about Jewish and Gentile culture and how the early church got started and the concerns of the early church. It's a lot to digest, sometimes, but it's enjoyable when I read a little bit at a time. The way the author has the characters pegged is really remarkable.
I'm almost halfway through the book.
