Heard them again on Saturday and they are definitely coming together with a GREAT sound. And they are having fun!

I just hope Tim can stear them away from the CCM trend. To me SGM is like eating a steak and CCM is like eating a piece of cardboard. At least to me. <grin> I just don't think the two of them together don't mix well, so why try?
Let each go their seperate ways. Both have their own fans.

Springfield I know in practice they have learned a lot of the 'older' songs. Also this week they are in the studio working on a CD of all Doug Riley songs.

I agree. If you try to merge the two styles together, you end up having NO fans.

Here's a couple more clips of Gold City since the new year started...two weeks in and I'd say they sound like they are clicking again and look like they are all enjoying each other.....sounds like the crowd is eatin' this line-up up too!!!!
Like I said earlier when this new line-up was announced....I think they are on their way back up to the top!!!

This is the best lineup I've heard for them since jay jonathan mark and tim! sounds like gold city is under new management...BIG TIM is back!
