A young man in Africa named Apollos has been called by God to be an evangelist in Niger. He has completed his training in Nigeria and returned to his homeland in Niger to harvest the fields where there are few workers. He is desperately in need of your prayers. Niger is 99% Islamic and 1% Christian. He is putting his very life on the line to bring the Good News to so many who are lost. Our prayers will give us the opportunity to help fulfill the Great Commission. The Fulani are one of the 12 great tribes there and one of his primary areas of work for the Lord.
THE GREAT COMMISSION
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Prayer Requests and Needs in Apollos' words.
Due to what we have seen with our eyes and what we understand that the Lord is calling or directing us to do, in order to bring about an end to this cancer of Spiritual death of believers, and to help the Church of Christ to grow up to maturity among Fulani. We therefore came out with the followings as what we are planning to do by the grace of God, in order to help the believers to stay firm in their faith, and help them to share the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to their fellows.
1- Get a Discipleship Training Centre, where the following would be done:
a- Teaching on reading writing in Fulfulde language.
b- Teaching on Old Testament Survey.
c- Teaching on New Testament Survey.
d- Many Teaching on Christian life, such as: Forgiveness, Sin, Holiness, Patient, etc…
Through this local leaders can be training and be send back to go and take care of their fellows at home, and even share the Good News to unsaved ones.
2 - Looking for the ways to visit the believers in the bush and share with unbelievers that are living with them.
3- Getting a projector, small generator, a car to enter in the bush and villages to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Chris through Jesus Film.
4- Also pray that the Lord will strength us, and granted our needs both Spiritual and physical.
Thank you, for praying for us, and the Lord will surely reward you richly in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Provide transportation, drivers, a generator and every good thing that You already know they need.
Father, I pray that many souls will find salvation through Jesus Christ Our Lord because of this faithful ministry.
Bless every aspect of Apollos' work and keep each person involved in Your Tender Care.
Encourage and make strong those new believers in Niger so that they can stand firm within their Islamic communities.

I know this is long, but God has placed such a burden on me for this.
Please pray that many souls will be saved in Niger and that God will use Apollos in a might way.
These are fledgling Christians. In each village they can be counted literally on one hand.
After they accept Christ, there is no one there to teach them and make disciples of them.
Apollos needs your prayer for workers and mature Christians who are willing to go and stay in the villages to disciple new Christians.
I received an email from Apollos this morning and he is so grateful for our prayers and I want to share with you part of his message (he has trouble with some English words):
How wonderful it is for me to read your message this morning! Thank you for your concern toward God's work in Niger, and thank you even for your decision of both praying for me and my team, and of sharing these needs with some of your prayer partners.
Yes all wrote is correct and true, this shows me how the Lord is sharing His work among His children.
Marsha please share my sinsire greetings to your family and to your Church members and prayer partners.
Thank God for having you as a friend, the Lord will bless you, Amen.
With blessing and love in the Lord Jesus Christ, Apollos I.Djibo.
Father,
Apollos is truly doing New Testament Great Commission work.
As I sit here in the comfort of my home, sipping on Starbuck's coffee, listening to Bill Gaither's Vocal Band,
Apollos is putting his life on the line to share the gospel. I don't believe You have called to me to be a missionary.
But I do believe You have called me to pray and to give from my abundance to support the Great Commission.
Help me to be faithful with the calling You have given me.
Apollos goes into every Islamic village and into most Islamic homes and shares Jesus.
I am humbled and in awe of the calling You have given him.
I thank You, Holy Father, for this man and those on his team.
I am asking that You build a hedge of protection around them so that no harm can be done to them.
Bless them every step of the way with souls won for Your Kingdom.
Give them renewed energy and remove discouragement from their days and nights.
Send mature Christians to disciple the converts. Send workers to help, Lord.
Move people to give money for their support, and to share from their abundance with these people who have so little.
Lord, you know so much more about what He needs than I do. I trust You to provide it.
Rain down blessings on Apollos and provide every good thing that You know he needs.
Let him know how much You love him. Give him Your Blessed Assurance of the plan that You have for his life and work.
Holy Spirit, keep his fire and light burning for Kingdom work.
Jesus, Jesus, may Your name be known and worshipped in every corner of Niger.

As Apollos heads out today 3 days into the bush, please build a hedge of protection around him and his friends.
Prepare the hearts of those he will come in contact with so that they are eager to hear the Good News.
Multiply his efforts so that many souls are won for Your Kingdom.
Send more Christian workers into the field to disciple the Fulani Christians as they are babes in Christ.
Thank You, Lord, for already answering our prayers.

Go with Apollos today in Niger as he brings the Gospel to many muslims.
Open their hearts to the truth about God's love for them and for salvation through Jesus Christ.
Protect Apollos and his team from the evil one.
Help Apollos so that he can glorify You by equipping fledgling churches to disciple their members.

Give Apollos spiritual energy and fill him with the Holy Spirit.
Help him bring comfort to the few Christians in each village where he is going today.
Give him new converts for Your Glory and let each one of them bring a brother or sister to Christ.
Keep him true to Your Word and encourage him to keep going.
Help him energize those few Christians who are trying to teach their communities about Jesus.
Protect Apollos and the ones traveling with him so that no harm of any kind comes to them.

I lift up Apollos, your servant and called one, so that You can bless him and his ministry.
Please, Lord, help them translate the Bible into their local dialect.
Also, give them the resources to build a discipleship center so that new Christians in Niger can learn Your Word.
Keep Apollos in Your care and make provision for his every need in accordance with Your Divine Plan.

Father,
I thank You for Apollos and for his love for You.
I also thank You that Apollos wants to follow Your will for his life and bring the Good News to muslims and the lost in Niger.
I am praying that You will bless him with the money he needs to meet his commitments before the end of May.
Bless his upcoming July marriage and let it be one that is centered in You. Bless all of the children that come from this union.
Let each child be dedicated to You and I pray that You will lead them into service for Your Kingdom.
I ask that You would bring his parents and older brother close to Your heart so they can know You through Jesus Christ.
Please, Lord, do not let Apollos’ loved ones die without accepting Jesus as Savior and making Him the Lord of their lives.
Father, I ask that You bless the work Apollos is doing in Niger for Your Kingdom.
May his words be Your words.
May his deeds be exactly what You want him to do.
Bless his efforts with many saved souls so that Your Name can be glorified.
Keep Apollos and his family under Your protection from the evil one who seeks to do them harm.

Keep Apollos safe today as he goes out into Niger's bush to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Muslim Fulani.
Bless his efforts, and let many accept Jesus as Savior. Draw his own family members to salvation.
Lord, please make provision for all of the things that are needed to disciple new converts there.
Send financial aid to him so that he can meet his obligations before May.

Apollos goes into every Islamic village and into most Islamic homes and shares Jesus.
I am humbled and in awe of the calling You have given him.
I thank You, Holy Father, for this man and those on his team.
I am asking that You build a hedge of protection around them so that no harm can be done to them.
Bless them every step of the way with souls won for Your Kingdom.
Give them renewed energy and remove discouragement from their days and nights.
Send mature Christians to disciple the converts. Send workers to help, Lord.
Move people to give money for their support, and to share from their abundance with these people who have so little.
Lord, you know so much more about what He needs than I do. I trust You to provide it.
Rain down blessings on Apollos and provide every good thing that You know he needs.
Let him know how much You love him. Give him Your Blessed Assurance of the plan that You have for his life and work.
Holy Spirit, keep his fire and light burning for Kingdom work.
Jesus, Jesus, may Your name be known and worshipped in every corner of Niger.
Thank you, Father, for hearing my prayers and for already answering them.
