I wish that New Ground would have made it this year, they should make the top 5 and then win! But of the groups on the list, these are who I would like to see make top 5:

Crabb Revival
Crist Family
Old Paths
Shiloh
Tribute Quartet

This is one of my favorite categories every year because it always changes. There are some really great up and coming groups nominated this year. My top 5 in order:
1. Old Paths (I really love "He Didn't Have The Heart" from their "Life Again" CD)
2. Tribute Quartet (Saw them live at Silver Dollar City last year...they were great)
3. Soul'd Out Quartet
4. Crist Family
5. Browders

I would also like to hear more from Spoken 4. I don't have any music by them, so I guess I will have to order some soon.

Me too Daniel. Although I really do like some of the others.

Same here! There are some strong nominees this year--Spoken 4 is really good, especially live, I've been hearing good things about Soul'd Out (but haven't actually heard them yet), and Tribute Quartet is also solid.

Hey Kingsman-Fan - (NE Wahl),

Thanks for the nice kudos about New Ground - I'm honored - but we were in the Top 5 for the honors in 2004 - so I guess we cannot be up for Horizon Group any longer - it's hard to believe that New Ground has been singing 15 years!!!

Hugs to the family - hope to see ya'll soon!

Robbie

I voted for Tribute because I haven't even heard anything by any of the others.
