Hello! I have't visited the forum in quite some time so...Hello Everyone! There is a christian radio station that plays old-time gospel songs every Saturday evening that I listen to. I once heard a beautiful song, I believe the name was "Come see the Man" It was based on the woman at the well, after she had met Jesus and went back to her town to tell others to come and see Him. It was sung by a group with a female lead singer. Anyone have any idea what the of the song actualy is and who sang it? Thanks! IN HIS LOVE

Are you talking about the song, "Come See a Man"? I know the Duvall Family and Jody Brown Indian Family each recorded it. It goes something like this: Come see a man who told me all I ever did. I met Him down at Jacob's well where sin cannot be hid. Come see a man and He will wash away your sin. He'll give you living water so you'll never thirst again. I believe the songwriter, Mike Spanhanks, and his family sang this song as well.

Is the song fast or slow? The group I sing with sings a song with the title, "Come See the Man", but I don't think it is an old song.

Hi! The song is fast and very upbeat. For some reason I keep thinking the Hagee family is who the radio said sang it...I could be wrong though..I'm not sure how old it is either! (alot of help I know) I only heard it the one time but boy did I like it!
