Hello all,
Not sure if this is the best place to get responses but I have been hoping to find some people who are genuinely interested in learning Arabic and/or Hebrew.
Hoping there are people here interested.
I was hoping to find some fellow Christians who are interested in this.
I was thinking of going overseas next summer to learn.
Just want to know if there's any interest.

I would love to learn Spanish, but I'm not very good at languages so I don't think that's gonna happen.
But Arabic and Hebrew would be really interesting to learn.

I've recently taken up an interest in learning Hebrew. Where I would around here is a different story, but certainly the interest is there.

I took two years of Spanish in high school, and I've forgotten most of it.
At one point, I wanted to learn Greek. I might still learn it one day, I dunno.

I know Malay, Indonesian, Mandarin, Hokkien, English and a tiny bit of Japanese...
I want to learn European languages like German and French though...

I think I have convinced myself of downloading some French podcasts onto my iPod.
Spanish is so uninteresting to me, so I plan to avoid it.

I know a smattering of Japanese, Sign Language, Latin, and Italian (because I can't decide!).
Learning languages has always interested me, but I just haven't stuck with any...I'd really love to be fluent in three or four. If I go to college next year, I plan to take French, which will be a start at least.

I speak german perfectly, my english is not the worst and I learn dutch and portuguese. Ok, Dutch is unnecessary for me because nearly every dutch speaks german and english. I think that I will stop learning dutch and start learning standard chinese or russian.

I speak english and spanish
I learned french throughout all my school life, but I've forgotten most of it 
but I would just loooooooooooooove to learn german and hebrew

I majored in Russian and graduated last May. I wouldn't consider myself fluent (and am definitely out of practice), but I really enjoy speaking the language. It's poetic, but a tongue-twister. Consonant clusters, FTW! :D
And I took a few years of Spanish in college as well. I could have minored in it with a few more classes, but the effort didn't appeal to me :P
I know a couple little phrases in Japanese, but that's next on my list. I would love to be fluent in Russian and Japanese, but then go on to learn more from there. I think it would be awesome to at least learn one language from every major language group: Russian, Japanese, Persian, Swahili, and either Swedish/Norwegian/Icelandic/etc. So little time!

That is so cool! I want to learn German, my grandparents were part German, so I think it would
be pretty cool to be able to speak it!
