does anyone know where in the bible it says something to this effect
how many times should i forgive my brother 7? if you only forgive 7 should i only forgive you 7 times rather that 10x7
not sure how clear this will be to anyone out there but that is how i remember it if anyone knows please let me know

Until 70 X 7.
Not 490 times in a day.
But a "lifestyle."
We are to walk in forgiveness.
I don't count how many times I forgive someone,
I just forgive them.

(Mat 18:21) Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
(Mat 18:22) Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
That would be 490 times, but I interpret that to mean no limit on the abount of times.

Idioms are funny that way.
70 X 7 = no limit
1,000 generations = for always
etc.
